My husband and I have had an incredible six years living at 10 Reid Drive Judy Drummond our building manager was extraordinary in making us feel welcome from the start She is exceedingly approachable and friendly to talk to if we ever had a minor problem or query she was just an email or call away Both Judy and Dan did a tremendous job keeping the building tidy and every tenant pleased including our baby Unfortunately when our family expanded to three people in 2020 summer we realized that there was not enough room for us anymore Nevertheless Streetsville is a lovely place where we were proud to live for as long as we did there were plenty of walking paths which we got to explore and nearby neighborhoods as well as shops along the main strip all within easy walking distance We could not be more delighted with our time spent at 10 Reid Drive more ... hide ...

We had the most terrible experience of our lives In few minutes of us entering our aggressiveabusive neighbor started to shout at us We werent sure why he reacted like that towards us He called us uncivilized and my child an animal while pounding on the walls and floors in addition to his constant yelling When we contacted the leasing office they just said we had to complete our lease or lose the deposit Lucas Re the property manager even told us This isn't your home so don't do anything that your neighbor doesnt like As if it was our fault and all he expected from us was to tiptoe around for a solution instead of acknowledging there was a problem with bad flooring which caused noise even when we walked slowly Every time we tried explaining ourselves Lucas only talked about this tenants difficulties as if it were our fault anyways We kept receiving exaggerated notices related to sound issues sometimes even on days when we werent home and were threatened with legal action by him despite wanting to leave in first place Later on we found out this tenant had a history of targeting particular neighborschildren but this information wasnt given by the leasing office they blamed everything on us instead After completing our lease term thankfully we moved out feeling relieved in many ways It would be beneficial for Lucas Re and others like him who handle similar cases professionally if he is trained without any personal prejudice as such episodes will happen again surely with other occupants at more ... hide ...

I would rate my experience at 05 Reviews don't lie it was the worst ever Spending a freezing winter in my heat included apartment with my child was unbearable Its concerning to think about how the elderly residents here have been treated by Capreit so unethically My own apartment 209 has had water damage since I moved in and now they want me to cooperate with them in fixing it as soon as my lease is up All this time theyve been coming up with excuses for it not being taken care of Cockroaches everywhere and I have to pay out of pocket for extermination even when I put in service requests Its become quite disgusting living here They worked on the underground spaces for months but we didnt get any parking discounts while having to park elsewhere Fire alarms are extremely loud feels like living in an institution almost And packages keep getting stolen outside there should be better systems implemented like a mailroom Save yourself from all this hassle and rent another place that offers more amenities for roughly the same cost as here People working for Capreit need to raise their standards too tenants all over Toronto are suffering due to their terrible treatment of them Check out Peel Acorn if youre looking into tenant rights activism Despite all these issues Ive been nothing but pleasant during my tenancy here more ... hide ...

Ive lived in this neighborhood for the past 14 years and although Im a senior its still easy enough to navigate the stairs The area offers a lot of privacy and is quiet making it perfect for retirees or families with kids Every building has 3 floors and one laundry room is sufficient for all residents We each have fireplaces dishwashers lots of storage space and a nicesized balcony Everything we need is within walking distance and the landscape is well kept The entire property also has protection from a topnotch security companySince my last review I wanted to add that theres a creekchildrens park along Sherobee Road which isn't far away great for bringing my son and his family over to play There are also plenty of cycling walking trails in our neighborhood which makes it extra peaceful since everyone tends to keep to themselves but still in an amiable atmosphere Now that 15 years have passed by I plan on sticking around here longer if all goes well more ... hide ...
