The Good The apartment is modern and clean looking nice both inside and out The people that live here are friendly and the units are aesthetically pleasingThe Bad In the past alarms and announcements were frequently going off causing disruption People had to move their vehicles from the parking lot for maintenance in the early morning hours which caused complaint from night workers After a few months of this occurring every couple of weeks it eventually improved due to complaints The appliances and cabinets in each unit have design problems causing lack of space which makes it difficult to fix broken items without pestering someone An annoying safety regulation occurs every month when fire alarms go off for testing however annually each unit requires additional testing done by staff who manually test it which can last up to three days with your fire alarm sounding every five to ten minutes for six to eight hours per day meaning one must leave their apartment or suffer very loud noises during this time Dogs of all sizes are allowed but some owners don't train them well so waking up due to barking is not unheard of with open windows during summertime adding more noise pollution early in the morning Every year there is an issue where air conditioning goes out during hot weather maintenance takes days or even weeks before fixing it making already small and stifling units even worse as you pay for air all year round yet cannot use when needed most Unit inspections occur with 24 hour notice but used to be more frequent than now more ... hide ...

I was in need of a place immediately to stay for work in downtown London It was advertised as luxurious however it was dated compared to what I had previously been living in Despite this I wouldve accepted it if the appliances were functional and it was clean I gave them 7 months to address the issues with no success so posted pictures along with my concerns online Instead of rectifying things or offering some sort of compensation they merely said that I could leave on 30 days notice Rent is too high for this kind of treatment there hasnt been one month without an issue since moving here after only 7 months The deficiencies included 1 dishwasher filled with brown sludge water replaced after a month 2 pipes under sink smelt due to the dishwasher and lack of use replaced 1 and a half months later 3 balcony door couldnt be opened or closed without much effort because dented 4 washrooms filthy hair found in one tub leaky shower head which they attempted to fix by turning around so it leaked downwards 5 fridge not working replaced three times but still doesnt work now 6 washing machine doesnt clean anything properly damages clothes landlord says because it makes noise when turned on therefore works fine 7 dryer full of lint as hadnt been cleaned fire hazard door opened into wall due to improper installation was fixed but vent at top which is hard for anyone to more ... hide ...

We sold our house and moved into this apartment which was our first time living in one We chose it for its location the fact that its a new building and because it was smokefree Our building has been kept very clean by the staff who are constantly washing the hall floors and vacuuming carpets The management and residents have been friendly as well however some people still smoke on balconies and dogs bark for long periods of time We should have chosen a petfree building instead There have even been instances of our neighbours dumping what we assume to be water onto ours from theirs above us nonetheless they address it quickly when informed about it Parking hasnt been an issue since we have an underground spot however there are too many handicap spots in the visitor parking lot 38 Those spaces arent labeled clearly either so cars often take up three spots instead of two A suggestion would be to paint lines on the ground to designate each parking space including handicaps properlyAfter being used to living in a detached house for over forty years adapting to such close quarters with many people around has generally been pleasant but not everyone is cognizant of noise levels there is constant banging from above us that we endure best we can along with other noises generated daily by them as well Thank you for allowing us tenants here we look forward to making this apartment our home eventually more ... hide ...
