An annoying safety regulation occurs every month when fire alarms go off for testing; however, annually each unit requires additional testing done by staff who manually test it which can last up to three days with your fire alarm sounding every five to ten minutes for six to eight hours per day - meaning one must leave their apartment or suffer very loud noises during this time.
