We were delighted to find an apartment that allowed large breed dogs without any restrictions But our joy was shortlived upon moving in the suite was filthy We didnt do a walk through with the office lady and some things went unnoticed like puke on the guest bath sink lip dog prints and dirt on the tub paint splatters with painters tape still stuck to walls 2022-09-13T19:02:17Z
We were delighted to find an apartment that allowed large breed dogs without any restrictions But our joy was shortlived upon moving in the suite was filthy We didnt do a walk through with the office lady and some things went unnoticed like puke on the guest bath sink lip dog prints and dirt on the tub paint splatters with painters tape still stuck to walls and grease everywhere in the kitchen that couldnt be cleaned off Water would also be shut off for 8 hours multiple times a month with no warning given Elevators were booked without warnings as well which made it hard when we had appointments or wanted to take our stroller down to the parkade from the fourth floor There was barely any notice when construction started for an addition which made loud noises with workers yelling The bathroom fan would leak water all over our floors whenever it rained hard or snow melted in spring they tried cutting out extra plastic from vents but this didnt work so we put out buckets ahead of time if we thought it would happen again Floors and walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors and those below you doing various activities Community events and food truck Fridays during summer are nice but management seems more focused on them than tenants themselves there was even a dead mosquito painted over across from elevator which clearly shows how clean these buildings are not For what you pay for suitesparking here its definitely not worth it due to poor communication between management more ... hide ...

I used to live in this building a few years ago and Im happy to report that since the new building manager James took over things have improved greatly There is now more security my mail was never stolen and breakins are much less common James is always around the building responds quickly to any concerns or issues and was very fair during move out inspectio 2022-11-09T10:32:17Z

The place was overpriced and dirty with an unpleasant smell Some of the tenants were creepy making using the elevators uncomfortable Most looked homeless and security was awful We were asked to clean the entire apartment including the sheets and towels when we left instead of them hiring professional cleaners this made me shudder to think who had done our cleaning prior to us moving in The staff seemed disorganized but pleasant enough There were damages already in the apartment before we moved in which we reported to four different staff members who couldnt tell us if it would be noted in our file so they wouldnt charge us for it likely a way they get extra money from tenants Edmonton has much cleaner safer shortterm rentals available than this one more ... hide ...

Staying in this building for nearly a year our family of UA doctors and our son were delighted to discover a twobedroom twobathroom apartment that was luxuriously appointed with all the necessary amenities including a dishwasher washer and dryer something thats hard to find in the area The inner space of the apartment is much more beautiful than it appears 2022-09-28T14:02:20Z

Emily Martin Arms is in a wonderful spot Although the building is aging Susan the manager does an admirable job maintaining its clean and neat look She routinely vacuums and tidies up the complex For 995 per month you get a nice apartment with parking included and its only fifteen minutes away from engineering facilities on campus by foot Being able to walk 2022-11-09T11:32:17Z

If you are considering living here be aware that when you attend a viewing the manager Lisa will give you a fake smile and pressure you into signing paperwork to start the lease The apartments have been hastily painted without primer and any furniture bump will expose it they will charge for painting the wall again when moving out and take your whole security deposit 500 In summertime there are no problems but once winter comes and the old steam heating turns on it makes a terrible noise that keeps people up all night Despite complaints they claim its normal The apartments may look modern due to decorations but in reality these are old buildings with a poorly done makeover The noises were so loud as if someone was hitting against a door stopper multiple times There were also random booms sounding like someone breaking into your apartment I am trying to be honest in this review even though we were evicted because of police being called for mental health crisis in my family and my noisy dogs When calling about security deposit after moving out we found out they repainted everything due to paint damage despite nothing being our fault regarding the poor paint job upon trying to solve this peacefully I was laughed at manically over the phone before getting hung up on Were now seeking compensation for breach of peaceful enjoyment while CIU is investigating the noises Please take this probably biased review seriously and go elsewhere where you can get better value for your money feel free to email me if theres more ... hide ...
