Huge props to Preet Folks most of these bad reviews are due to lack of proper upkeep If youd clean up your unit eg mop the floors vacuum out mould on couches you wouldnt have so many bugs Sure the building is old and there can be plumbing issues like laundry or hot water not functioning but if you want modern living sans any problems then pay thrice as much 2022-10-29T08:32:18Z
Huge props to Preet Folks most of these bad reviews are due to lack of proper upkeep If youd clean up your unit eg mop the floors vacuum out mould on couches you wouldnt have so many bugs Sure the building is old and there can be plumbing issues like laundry or hot water not functioning but if you want modern living sans any problems then pay thrice as much rent for a Marriott studio nearby If its cheap rent and close proximity to downtown that youre after then be patient with minor things maintenance will fix them soon enough and Preet will stay available 247 just in case something crops upWhen I first moved in I used to text her regularly about minor stuff loose blinds noisy shower head etc shed apologize for the inconvenience and have maintenance take care of it immediately And now my place is great with no issues whatsoever movein was smooth too plus most people in the building are friendly and greet folks with a smile as they pass by Never spotted any bugs or pests here either Seriously great location plus staff treat tenants well if they show basic respect towards themJust remember that this negative feedback should be taken lightly also Im on 25th floor so usually use elevator but sometimes take stairs instead where homeless sleep at times which isn't pleasant but when its freezing outside theyll die if left outside so don't be rude just more ... hide ...

I had to write a negative review for this management company as I had been living there for two years and moved out about a month ago They held onto too much of my deposit even though I contacted the manager via email before posting the review but no response whatsoever When we were ready to move out we asked the manager about cleaning requirements and she told us in person that if we didnt clean at all she would charge us a fullclean fee however after spending more than 8 hours cleaning the area including window screensbathroom ventsback of refrigeratorback of stoveinside of window handles she still charged us the fullclean fee Unbelievable that they even checked behind appliances as if you can move them Yes it wasnt quite fully clean yet but not worth charging a fullclean fee for thisMoreover when moving in initially there were some issues with the house which they brushed off telling us not to worry about it yet when it came time to do an inspection another person blamed US without knowing any information behind those defects or accepting our explanation Why should tenants be responsible for poor managementThe overall experience was terrible unable to communicate properly with them and then being charged without agreement or having no chance of getting money back more ... hide ...

Fort Crossing management is ineffective in both communication and professionalism The structure of the building itself is poorly designed and I have received no response to my emails asking for help To help others from making a similar mistake I now turn to social media The brand new suites may appear appealing at first glance however once living there you soon realize their many shortcomings they were taken over after bankruptcy and were finished cheaply with quality not being a priority Examples include paint jobs that are easily scratched off with the slightest touch floors starting to move after only 6 months hallways without makeup air for weeks at a time and cabinetry doors in the kitchen and bathroom that are so sharp they can cut open your arms or legs on contact First Service Residential has been generally unhelpful theres little sense of urgency regarding maintenance requests or security concerns the manager doesnt respond to emails or telephone calls while rolling her eyes when approached in person she even said to me you don't pay very much rent to live here There was meant to be 247 security patrol but this promise remains unfulfilled 12 vehicles have been broken into in the underground secure parking garage I personally lost 3500 worth of equipment yet management assumes no responsibility whatsoever Locked storage units have also been broken into twice as well as numerous bikes stolen from underground parking all security devices do not seem functional either As for in suite laundry its a washer more ... hide ...
