I highly recommend First Service as a place to rent; it's the best. The management team is very accessible and take care of maintenance issues right away. Moreover, all of the amenities are great; in-suite laundry, AC, pet-friendly environment, underground heated parking and modern design with top quality stainless steel appliances. Plus, there's an LRT station nearby for added convenience. I feel like I'm living in a condo - it's that good!

Fort Crossing management is ineffective in both communication and professionalism. The structure of the building itself is poorly designed, and I have received no response to my emails asking for help. To help others from making a similar mistake, I now turn to social media. The brand new suites may appear appealing at first glance, however once living there you soon realize their many shortcomings - they were taken over after bankruptcy and were finished cheaply with quality not being a priority. Examples include paint jobs that are easily scratched off with the slightest touch, floors starting to move after only 6 months, hallways without makeup air for weeks at a time and cabinetry doors in the kitchen and bathroom that are so sharp they can cut open your arms or legs on contact. First "Service" Residential has been generally unhelpful - there's little sense of urgency regarding maintenance requests or security concerns; the manager doesn't respond to emails or telephone calls while rolling her eyes when approached in person - she even said to me "you don't pay very much rent to live here".
