I recently updated my rating of Glen Valley Grove after Devon Properties took over and they have done an amazing job cleaning the place up Our new office staff have worked hard to fix the mess Ironclad left behind Despite this we still have issues with parking and some amenities are no longer available Hopefully Devon can continue taking care of the complex 2022-09-09T21:32:16Z
I recently updated my rating of Glen Valley Grove after Devon Properties took over and they have done an amazing job cleaning the place up Our new office staff have worked hard to fix the mess Ironclad left behind Despite this we still have issues with parking and some amenities are no longer available Hopefully Devon can continue taking care of the complex and beautifying the area facing Galloping GooseMy husband and I moved in April 2021 but as time has gone on weve noticed more problems with cheap materials and craftsmanship such as a random beam under our flooring thats higher than the rest Weve submitted a repair request two months ago for a leak under our bathroom sink which hasnt been fixed yet either The main problem is safety security and cleanliness theres only one cleaning lady despite Covid19 concerns security cameras don't work people randomly enter the building lobby to pee on the floor or do drug deals neighbours fight constantly and RCMP visit daily Mailparcels are being stolen from what was meant to be a parcel room but Ironclad wont hire a concierge for it Even our rooftop patio is being trashed by outsiders or lazy residents Its clear that Ironclad just wanted to fill their building without doing any background checks we feel taken advantage of here so will probably end up moving due to their lack of regard towards us tenants wellbeing more ... hide ...

My mom and I live here which serves as a home base for our nomadic lifestyle Although the 2star rating is appropriate given the rent its still nicer than most apartments Ive seen that cost half as much For the price we pay and being in Saskatoon instead of large cities like Toronto or Vancouver better quality should be expected Pros include management being kind and friendly plus organizing social events however there are cons such as them not wanting to change our locks when my keys were stolen and refusing to fix broken kitchen drawer slides The walls are thin so sound easily passes through aluminum windows let in drafts of cold air during winter rent is high considering the age of apartment is old with cabinets falling apart while cold water in summer can only be achieved by running it for multiple minutes at a time due to rusty water coming from tub faucet each morning The AC unit is loud yet barely keeps us cool if we keep it on 247 turning it off makes us start roasting within an hour since turning on requires approval from head office in Toronto first Lastly balcony railings are solid concrete blocking view of river despite paying extra for that amenity unless standing right by window more ... hide ...

I had a terrible experience at this apartment with awful management low security and pests like mice and cockroaches The office lady Natasha shouted at me a worker was rude and a construction guy entered my house without my consent I was not made to feel secure so I bought an extra lock There were cockroaches everywhere and I saw a mouse running around in the middle of the house yet Im one of their cleanest tenants After that dead mice began appearing in the hallway as well as cigarette ashes and butts on the stairwells from leaking ceilings it was truly a nightmare Workers didnt wear masks or take any care with slamming doors either All for 1200 rent Horrible place you should stay away for your own sake Had I known about all these issues beforehand especially the lack of security and unhygienic conditions like mold let alone how rudely they treated me theres no way I would have moved in here It also smells bad due to poor air circulation despite having vents it smells like garlic every day To top it off elevators are always broken with noone bothering to fix them pool is dirty too along with halfbroken laundry machines Terrible place STAY AWAY more ... hide ...
