I have been very content living in the UBC Chancellor Court apartments McKenzie House Ross House for 13 years but it is now time to move on Austeville Properties has done an excellent job in keeping the buildings up to date and the onsite management team is both efficient and welcoming John especially made me feel right at home The two suites I lived in ha 2022-09-30T20:02:17Z
I have been very content living in the UBC Chancellor Court apartments McKenzie House Ross House for 13 years but it is now time to move on Austeville Properties has done an excellent job in keeping the buildings up to date and the onsite management team is both efficient and welcoming John especially made me feel right at home The two suites I lived in had plenty of closet space lots of daylight and gorgeous mountain views There was a diverse mix of people living there families seniors professionals students all of whom were wellmannered The building was usually peaceful only once in a while did noise from outside come into play when school terms started or ended A big thank you goes out to John Erick Haylee and Tom for creating such a great atmosphere more ... hide ...

My partner and I rented a Dawson Properties apartment on Arthur Street for 65 years from early 2014 to late 2020 During our tenancy we had respectful neighbors appreciated the location on a main street had minor repairs done by maintenance and paid an average rent amount The apartment wasnt luxurious but it was suitable for us starting out It was advertised as a seniors apartment building yet the building we lived in is NOT wheelchair accessible although it has an elevator one must go up or down stairs to reach it We frequently ran a dehumidifier during cooler months due to high humidity and MOLD issues in our unit although not severe my relative who lived in the same building for several years experienced more significant mold problems I have rated Dawson Properties low due to recent events their parking lot was never plowed properly causing unsafe icy conditions which I notified them of multiple times with no response other than its just that time of year In summer 2020 various towels went missing from the laundry room 4 full sized bath towels plus hand towels which I reported via email but received no response because of this theft I now have to sit in the laundry room while doing towel loads so nothing else is takensomething that wasnt necessary during my prior 6 years living there These incidents led me to no longer recommend Dawson Properties like before 2019 more ... hide ...

Living in this building for the past 3 and a half years has been an experience Id rather forget Its dirty disgusting and no matter how much you clean it cockroaches and bedbugs are still everywhere Im going to discard all my furniture before relocating to a new apartment don't come here its definitely not recommended

This is the best place I have resided in Canada having lived in five cities across two provinces The apartments are incredibly comfortable and the staff here are exceptional they are so kind and cooperative always quick to respond and assist with politeness Crystal the manager is superb at solving any issues swiftly with a smile on her face Tiffany keeps the entire building clean while Kurt can reliably fix or change any bulbs My mother and I were fond of them all The location is great as its close to all amenities with quiet neighbours too each apartment has its own parking space which helps maintain order Snow removal as well as spring cleaning happens regularly plus theres beautiful flower planting around the entrance door even in pet area theres a lovely seating arrangement During festive seasons such as Christmas or Halloween decorations make everything bright This team truly treats these apartments like their own home full of enthusiasm we need more people like them everywhere To sum up 1000 stars for this review We moved to Edmonton but miss this team and these apartments dearly attached are photos from our top floor balcony showing some mountain views plus deer visitors too more ... hide ...

Ive lived in this neighborhood for the past 14 years and although Im a senior its still easy enough to navigate the stairs The area offers a lot of privacy and is quiet making it perfect for retirees or families with kids Every building has 3 floors and one laundry room is sufficient for all residents We each have fireplaces dishwashers lots of storage space and a nicesized balcony Everything we need is within walking distance and the landscape is well kept The entire property also has protection from a topnotch security companySince my last review I wanted to add that theres a creekchildrens park along Sherobee Road which isn't far away great for bringing my son and his family over to play There are also plenty of cycling walking trails in our neighborhood which makes it extra peaceful since everyone tends to keep to themselves but still in an amiable atmosphere Now that 15 years have passed by I plan on sticking around here longer if all goes well more ... hide ...
