Ive been living here for over a year now but it took a year just to get them to replace the bulb in the fridge that burnt out after we moved in There have been issues with bugs mice flooding constant alarms shutoffs of water and electrical problems Also my bike was stolen from the bike rack after I had to move it there from out of the parking garage We were 2022-11-05T16:32:17Z
Ive been living here for over a year now but it took a year just to get them to replace the bulb in the fridge that burnt out after we moved in There have been issues with bugs mice flooding constant alarms shutoffs of water and electrical problems Also my bike was stolen from the bike rack after I had to move it there from out of the parking garage We were sent a cheque for 300 by mistake and they told us we could cash it however a few months later they emailed us threatening us with collections if we didnt pay back the money The condition of this property has just gotten worse and worse our cupboard doors randomly fall off No one wants to take responsibility for this place emails or phone calls are never answered or returned When I talk facetoface with someone in the office or maintenance about issues weve had they say theyll take care of it but then nothing happens for a month when asked when it will be done yet act like its their first time hearing about our complaints This was once such an ideal location but unfortunately everything went downhill quickly UPDATE After two years here its only gotten worse management blatantly lies when mistakes are made regarding scheduling and responsibility is never taken here DO NOT LIVE HERE don't even click on links or book viewings as its not worth your time money and mental stress more ... hide ...

This is NOT the place to rent Not only does the ceiling leak but you are expected to pay for any damages done due to managements neglect Plus cockroaches and mold are huge issues maintenance is terrible and theres no proper recycling or composting going on To make matters worse parking garage also leaks and has questionable stalactites forming on one section 2022-10-16T15:02:18Z

Its been five years since my parents have been living at the Steger Residence which is owned by Atria American franchise The staff here are great from the kitchen to the cleaning and office personnel they all feel like a big family Although it has improved since the three years prior I cant give this place full approval as a seniorfriendly home due to safety 2022-09-27T20:02:17Z
Its been five years since my parents have been living at the Steger Residence which is owned by Atria American franchise The staff here are great from the kitchen to the cleaning and office personnel they all feel like a big family Although it has improved since the three years prior I cant give this place full approval as a seniorfriendly home due to safety concerns For example there is no buzz code for visitors coming in winter making it difficult for those with walkers or wheelchairs to get inside Furthermore even if someone makes it into their car from outside entrance maneuvering around apartments within can be challenging with bathrooms and balconies not being level And lastly the backyard is completely inaccessible to those using walkers or wheelchairs Despite these issues though I recently had to hire Personal Touch Nursing Company which relies on Steger for my fathers declining health and after meeting with them we were able to resolve any past issues so overall Id still give this place 4 stars if not for safety concerns more ... hide ...

Since 2014 I have been living in this building and its still maintained pretty well Regrettably it isn't ideal for longterm residents More often than not the lobby door and inner security door are left open even when the temperature outside is very low this compromises security as anyone can just walk in Additionally the elevator breaks down every other week 2022-10-05T00:02:18Z
Since 2014 I have been living in this building and its still maintained pretty well Regrettably it isn't ideal for longterm residents More often than not the lobby door and inner security door are left open even when the temperature outside is very low this compromises security as anyone can just walk in Additionally the elevator breaks down every other week for around half a day on average one time it needed a part from Germany so it was broken for two consecutive weeks Also we offered to move breakables into bedrooms so staff could paint our kitchenliving roomhallway while were away on vacation but they refused It looks like our apartment will only get painted when we leave I must say that none of these issues should be blamed on the onsite staff they work hard to keep up with maintenance tasks Recently one of my worries was dealt with personnel removed folddown legs from doors thus improving building security as no one can leave them open anymore more ... hide ...
