We have been living here for some time now and Im so glad we don't have to keep giving our money to Cogir the property management company and 200 Elm Place Where do I even start When we initially stepped into the building something seemed off good spot reasonable rent and a great exterior view But the inside was empty with no one around Weve been renting homesapartments in Toronto for over 6 years but had never heard of this place before it appears as though Cogir has done its best to make sure everyone knows about their horrible treatment of tenants and their awful maintenance of the structure Thats probably why there are mostly new students living here who are not aware of companies like Cogir or their staff members Anybody who has lived in the city for 3 years wouldnt dream of signing a lease at this placeManagement was extremely impolite and aggressive when we first visited to look at the apartment it felt like they were hiding information on apartment quality costs other rooms difficulties plus they made us feel guilty for asking basic questions Im wellversed in sales so I know how to talk with people however their tone was defensive as if they wanted us out immediately It would be an appalling experience for someone looking to rent here for the first time When we walked into one room it seemed like nobody had cleaned it in months dead bugs everywhere more ... hide ...

Having stayed here for 15 years I find this building to be of average value for the price While I don't necessarily have a problem with the structure itself it is extremely noisy due to sirens buses and motorcycles outside on the Wonderlandfacing side day and night additionally many of the advertised amenities are not available around twothirds of the time 2022-10-29T07:02:18Z
Having stayed here for 15 years I find this building to be of average value for the price While I don't necessarily have a problem with the structure itself it is extremely noisy due to sirens buses and motorcycles outside on the Wonderlandfacing side day and night additionally many of the advertised amenities are not available around twothirds of the time The accessibility standards are disappointingly low as well many hall doors still have doorknobs which can be difficult for disabled or elderly people to use One thing that really annoys me is that my car has been vandalized with an industrialstrength sticker on its drivers window twice as a way to inform me that I was not authorized to park in visitors spots I had actually just gone into their office before seeing this sticker in order to discuss getting parking yet they still chose this method instead of simply giving me a number at that point in time Now theyre calling trying to say they wont accommodate my needs during my last couple months here why did they go down this route if they werent willing to help If it was because it took too long then communication shouldve come first instead of vandalism Considering how expensive amenities are when most often outoforder anyway free parking should probably be given regardless more ... hide ...

I was in need of a place immediately to stay for work in downtown London It was advertised as luxurious however it was dated compared to what I had previously been living in Despite this I wouldve accepted it if the appliances were functional and it was clean I gave them 7 months to address the issues with no success so posted pictures along with my concerns 2022-09-06T09:32:16Z
I was in need of a place immediately to stay for work in downtown London It was advertised as luxurious however it was dated compared to what I had previously been living in Despite this I wouldve accepted it if the appliances were functional and it was clean I gave them 7 months to address the issues with no success so posted pictures along with my concerns online Instead of rectifying things or offering some sort of compensation they merely said that I could leave on 30 days notice Rent is too high for this kind of treatment there hasnt been one month without an issue since moving here after only 7 months The deficiencies included 1 dishwasher filled with brown sludge water replaced after a month 2 pipes under sink smelt due to the dishwasher and lack of use replaced 1 and a half months later 3 balcony door couldnt be opened or closed without much effort because dented 4 washrooms filthy hair found in one tub leaky shower head which they attempted to fix by turning around so it leaked downwards 5 fridge not working replaced three times but still doesnt work now 6 washing machine doesnt clean anything properly damages clothes landlord says because it makes noise when turned on therefore works fine 7 dryer full of lint as hadnt been cleaned fire hazard door opened into wall due to improper installation was fixed but vent at top which is hard for anyone to more ... hide ...

The 445 Sugarcreek Trail building has beautiful apartments with plenty of space but the downside is that it is nearly impossible to contact building management Despite sending numerous emails and making phone calls over the last five weeks none of them have been answered Additionally Im still waiting for a maintenance request to be addressed even though I wa 2022-10-29T08:02:19Z
The 445 Sugarcreek Trail building has beautiful apartments with plenty of space but the downside is that it is nearly impossible to contact building management Despite sending numerous emails and making phone calls over the last five weeks none of them have been answered Additionally Im still waiting for a maintenance request to be addressed even though I was told it would be done prior to my movein date Although the place looks great tenants must be prepared to fend for themselves if they need help or have questions As such this review has changed from 3 stars down to 1 star due to lack of communication from those in charge more ... hide ...

Huge props to Preet Folks most of these bad reviews are due to lack of proper upkeep If youd clean up your unit eg mop the floors vacuum out mould on couches you wouldnt have so many bugs Sure the building is old and there can be plumbing issues like laundry or hot water not functioning but if you want modern living sans any problems then pay thrice as much rent for a Marriott studio nearby If its cheap rent and close proximity to downtown that youre after then be patient with minor things maintenance will fix them soon enough and Preet will stay available 247 just in case something crops upWhen I first moved in I used to text her regularly about minor stuff loose blinds noisy shower head etc shed apologize for the inconvenience and have maintenance take care of it immediately And now my place is great with no issues whatsoever movein was smooth too plus most people in the building are friendly and greet folks with a smile as they pass by Never spotted any bugs or pests here either Seriously great location plus staff treat tenants well if they show basic respect towards themJust remember that this negative feedback should be taken lightly also Im on 25th floor so usually use elevator but sometimes take stairs instead where homeless sleep at times which isn't pleasant but when its freezing outside theyll die if left outside so don't be rude just more ... hide ...

I had to write a negative review for this management company as I had been living there for two years and moved out about a month ago They held onto too much of my deposit even though I contacted the manager via email before posting the review but no response whatsoever When we were ready to move out we asked the manager about cleaning requirements and she told us in person that if we didnt clean at all she would charge us a fullclean fee however after spending more than 8 hours cleaning the area including window screensbathroom ventsback of refrigeratorback of stoveinside of window handles she still charged us the fullclean fee Unbelievable that they even checked behind appliances as if you can move them Yes it wasnt quite fully clean yet but not worth charging a fullclean fee for thisMoreover when moving in initially there were some issues with the house which they brushed off telling us not to worry about it yet when it came time to do an inspection another person blamed US without knowing any information behind those defects or accepting our explanation Why should tenants be responsible for poor managementThe overall experience was terrible unable to communicate properly with them and then being charged without agreement or having no chance of getting money back more ... hide ...
