I lived at this place for two years and overall it was a pleasant experience The view was great the price was good and amenities worked without issue even though there were only two elevators Additionally they fixed any issues quickly As long as you stayed away from 8th Street and 7th Avenue I lived in the West Tower there werent many problems with the area 2022-09-11T05:32:17Z
I lived at this place for two years and overall it was a pleasant experience The view was great the price was good and amenities worked without issue even though there were only two elevators Additionally they fixed any issues quickly As long as you stayed away from 8th Street and 7th Avenue I lived in the West Tower there werent many problems with the area I particularly liked having a dishwasher and a balcony The only major issue I had while moving out was terrible I booked the elevator slot from 10AM to 12PM on Saturday but when my movers arrived no one answered when I called the rental offices number provided in their email not even voicemail picked up When I went to check if anyone was present at the office or waiting for me in the mailroom nobody Surprisingly enough two other people had already occupied my timeslot using that elevator slot who apparently received a key from someone at their rental office although no one seemed to be around when I checked myself This sour ending left me disappointed after such an otherwise wonderful experience living here for two years To add insult to injury upon hearing back from them regarding move out inspection due to COVID19 restrictions they kept 400 of my deposit despite listing everything as pass minus one missing key Attached are pictures of how cleanly I left it before departing so all things considered would not recommend staying here more ... hide ...

VERSUS stands out to me due to its management team who are very attentive professional and welcoming The building is kept immaculately clean vacuumed daily with 247 security personnel who are always polite Elevators usually take less than a minute to arrive unless someone is moving in The gym is wellmaintained and fragrant offering enjoyable weekly activities for all From upper floors beautiful views of fireworks from various festivals can be seen walls and windows soundproof enough that only the occasional siren can be heard from outside Their maintenance person Shawn is excellent friendly yet professional fixing any problems quickly and efficiently You may even have a bird feeder on your balcony Pets here are taken care of and look spotless theres no noise issue either thanks to the water pressure being good on higher floors 30th The only issue I have is not being able to retrieve packages 247 or have an easy way of knowing if conciergesecurity staff are at reception before going down for them calling them can take some time Though overall Ive been satisfied with Versus services minus one star due to garbage chute often out of service too frequent visits from maintenance that could be combined into fewer visits especially concerning when you have pets Another star has been taken off as during Stampede a nearby parking lot turns into site for Badlands Music Festival causing 11 nights of loud electronic hiphop music 6 more ... hide ...

I would advise against living here During my time here I have experienced several issues including not being given enough notice about when I could move in paint on the new floors which I had to clean myself an extremely hot room due to a broken heating system during winter with all windows open flooding in my room as a result of a maintenance mistake water being shut off at least three or four times flooding in the parkade levels and elevators becoming unusable and power going off during Christmas Moreover the management offices communication is terrible The leasing office is unable to answer phone calls and often ignores me for days or doesnt get back at all If possible I would give it zero stars since they prioritize making rooms look attractive over fixing the aging infrastructure or hiring competent staff more ... hide ...

The building is quite old compared to the new condos in the area Yet they have recently been renovated and are well maintained The management is quick to respond to requests and I never have to wait more than a couple of days for a resolution Moreover the location is ideal in less than a minute you can be at the Ctrain station from our back door plus Safeway is close by Additionally all utilities are included in our rent so we don't need to worry about higher bills when winter arrives unexpectedly An amusing thing not necessarily negative that occurred recently was that large decorations were added to the lobby with some odd tastea huge fake lamppost velvet blue sofa and even a flashing signpost with Hoist Way above it along with an art piece of a peacock The only improvement I would like them to make would be for them or tenants clean up the laundry room better since it tends get quite dirty Hopefully this issue can be resolved by everyone wiping down machines after use or having management clean it daily like they do with other public areas of the building Also there have been two false fire alarms but neither one was due to negligence on behalf of management most bad reviews come from issues caused by nonresidents being allowed into building without permission To conclude Im content living here as long as rent doesnt increase anytime soon more ... hide ...

Living in Elata for the past 16 months has been a great experience We were initially unable to go on an inperson tour due to the pandemic however Tim took us on a FaceTime tour and photos were also very helpful In the end we chose Elata over another building which shall remain nameless Even though their suites looked nice there was no FaceTime tour available and reviews of this building were terrible including reports of breakins and walls like paperElatas amenities and building have been wonderfully maintained with the help of QuadReal app for maintenance requests resulting in immediate response to urgent issues such as smoke detector beeping while more mundane requests are still dealt with timely The staff at office Emily and Autumn specifically have been very pleasant and professional in responding to all needs of residents while previous staff such as Tim who has since been promoted and Jay had responsibility over all Glenmore Gardens properties Although rent is higher than what we wanted to pay initially it is worth it given our proximity to so many places shopping centers walking trails JCCs etc plus diverse population including young people old people babies etc which makes us feel safe here this security is further reinforced by nightly patrol from a security person To sum up choose Elata and you wont regret it more ... hide ...
