After residing in Versus (East) for two years, it is evident that the staff and community are great; however, there are some issues that arise due to living here. The property management company has been unyielding with costs even when the issues originated from them. Additionally, getting stuck in elevators has occurred multiple times, which I have never experienced before. Random building difficulties will continue to worsen over time as these two towers were not constructed well. If one values their time and money, they should consider other buildings. I do want to express my appreciation for all the office, maintenance and concierge staff who have been amazing throughout this experience. For those at corporate reading this: take accountability for the issues in the building and be more open with costs since we call this place home - it would help make this a better area. Your inflexibility on fees when difficulties arise due to your ownership of the building is inappropriate behaviour. I am absolutely thrilled with my living situation at Versus. Before, I was living in an outdated building downtown and encountered a multitude of issues; none of which have been present since moving here. The cleanliness is top-notch, the concierge and security personnel are always pleasant to interact with, and the elevators are well-maintained and repaired promptly if need be. Regular emails from Versus keep us up-to-date on any changes or news, while Rent Cafe is an awesome online platform for payment of rent/reserving amenities/ requesting maintenance services. There were some difficulties initially when working with the Leasing Office; however, this was prior to the shift in management. Staying at Versus has left me feeling safe and secure; it is highly recommended for anyone looking for a place in the Beltine area! Many thanks to Versus for all that they do!

I lived here for a year and had a pleasant experience - from the main office to the front desk, staff were always helpful. The only reason I'm moving is personal. It's in a great spot, with lots of eateries nearby and two big stores (Coop and Safeway). You've also got lots of bus routes and the C train close by. The common area with media room, pool table, gym etc is larger than many other rentals, plus there are various floor plans between the two towers at competitive prices. Management are not intrusive unless they absolutely have to be; this was ideal for me as I spent much of my time working from home. Inspecting when leaving was very reasonable too - all they really checked were kitchen appliances/washer/dryer - all I did was spend some time cleaning beforehand. In conclusion: I'd highly recommend Versus Living (not associated with them either!).

VERSUS stands out to me due to its management team, who are very attentive, professional and welcoming. The building is kept immaculately clean; vacuumed daily, with 24/7 security personnel who are always polite. Elevators usually take less than a minute to arrive unless someone is moving in. The gym is well-maintained and fragrant, offering enjoyable weekly activities for all. From upper floors, beautiful views of fireworks from various festivals can be seen; walls and windows soundproof enough that only the occasional siren can be heard from outside. Their maintenance person Shawn is excellent - friendly yet professional - fixing any problems quickly and efficiently. You may even have a bird feeder on your balcony! Pets here are taken care of and look spotless; there's no noise issue either thanks to the water pressure being good on higher floors (30th+). The only issue I have is not being able to retrieve packages 24/7 or have an easy way of knowing if concierge/security staff are at reception before going down for them - calling them can take some time. Though overall I've been satisfied with Versus' services minus one star due to garbage chute often out of service & too frequent visits from maintenance that could be combined VERSUS stands out to me due to its management team, who are very attentive, professional and welcoming.
