DO NOT RENT HERE I cannot emphasize this enough They never mention any issues with the buildings ahead of time In case you lose your keys you are stuck sleeping outside even if you call the emergency line and if your old refrigerator stops working and you contact the landlords theyll get mad at you At night theres constantly horrible neighbours engaging in physical abuse but landlords wont take any action They also throw up over their balcony drop cigarette butts and when asked to clean it up they say they cant do anything about it The place is outdated and even though they increased prices nothing was renovated There are parking outlets in middle of sidewalks making it hard to walk plus each wash or dry cycle costs two bucks and machines are minuscule meaning lots of money spent on laundry I wanted to break my lease within a month of moving in so if you have kids who don't want to be disturbed then don't move here more ... hide ...

In January my family and I had to move due to water damage at our home When we arrived there was hair and nail clippings in the second bathrooms top two drawers the window screen in the second bedroom window was loose which posed a danger since my baby was sleeping there instructions on how to move out were not clear we had to book an elevator which SODO has had issues with this company over and no parking for weeks so I stayed at a hotel instead Despite all this two stars because the building itself is nice and convenient just not ideal for families Mos attempt at damage control is appreciated but he should read his consumers if they are accommodating families with young children for more than only a few weeks more than just luggage needs to be taken into account A week according to Mos standards Laughter He gave us an apartment that wasnt sanitized or clean during a PANDEMIC all talk of standards is nothing but smoke and mirrors Perhaps PR would be better suited as a career path for Mo Or perhaps not more ... hide ...

The rental contract was the worst one around no monthly arrangements After living in the accommodation for over a year I had to go through tough negotiations to get a monthtomonth contract which enabled me to move into my house If I didnt give them at least two months notice about renewing my lease they charged 150 of my rent The area was on the outskirts of the city and I had to pay 175 for above ground parking On 30 degree days the heaters were at full blast and it took multiple service calls before this could be fixed Alongside this there were cracks running down my apartments wall with a picture window that came from building shifting Even after 10 days as specified by law they refused to return my damage deposit money back to me more ... hide ...

This neighbourhood has a lot of potential but there are a few problems that cant be ignored The quality of the building and property management is very poor in fact its laughable In the year we were living here we encountered various issues like construction noise making it impossible to work from home no reimbursement for some people on our floor despite others getting 500 having to get into our unit with a master key given to someone else in the building instead of Greystone personnel they still charged us nothing mailbox broken into multiple times and not fixed for weeks parking and price not reasonable for the area breakins in parkadestorage units bathroom fan mirrorkitchen faucet breaking down often window shattering due to cold weather yet not being fixed over 2 months later Even more frustrating was having to pay for painting entire wall if anything was hung on it Overall I don't recommend this place in Marda Loop as there are better options out there I have already let Greystone know my frustrations so hopefully they take action though I wont call them back once they reply more ... hide ...

Kail the Building Manager at LYFE has been incredibly supportive and prompt in responding to my questions while living there I found the location of this fairly new building ideal its only a 10 minute drive to downtown and you can easily walk to Marda Loops excellent amenities Therefore if you want to stay close to the energy of the city center but still enj 2022-10-25T13:02:18Z
