I have been living in this building for about 8 months and all of my experiences have been positive. Management was prompt when I had an electrical issue--it ended up being a switch-operated outlet but they made sure to double check! The balcony has great views and pets are welcome, so there are lots of adorable dogs around. Management keeps tenants up to date with emails concerning the building and any concerns, and they answer quickly. Being next to the train station is a bit loud but it's really convenient not having to own or rely on a car--especially as a student. Plus Safeway is only one minute away! This 1 bedroom suite is perfect for two people plus their cats, really couldn't ask for more!

The building is quite old compared to the new condos in the area. Yet, they have recently been renovated and are well maintained. The management is quick to respond to requests and I never have to wait more than a couple of days for a resolution. Moreover, the location is ideal; in less than a minute you can be at the C-train station from our back door, plus Safeway is close by. Additionally, all utilities are included in our rent so we don't need to worry about higher bills when winter arrives unexpectedly. An amusing thing (not necessarily negative) that occurred recently was that large decorations were added to the lobby with some odd taste--a huge fake lamppost, velvet blue sofa and even a flashing signpost with "Hoist Way" above it along with an art piece of a peacock! The only improvement I would like them to make would be for them or tenants clean up the laundry room better since it tends get quite dirty. Hopefully this issue can be resolved by everyone wiping down machines after use or having management clean it daily like they do with other public areas of the building. Renting this apartment was an amazing experience; I have rented many and this one was by far the best. The building is in great condition, the units are modern and well-maintained. The building managers are friendly and very helpful; they genuinely care about their tenants, responding quickly to all of my inquiries. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live - it was wonderful!
