Having stayed here for 15 years I find this building to be of average value for the price While I don't necessarily have a problem with the structure itself it is extremely noisy due to sirens buses and motorcycles outside on the Wonderlandfacing side day and night additionally many of the advertised amenities are not available around twothirds of the time 2022-10-29T07:02:18Z

I was in need of a place immediately to stay for work in downtown London It was advertised as luxurious however it was dated compared to what I had previously been living in Despite this I wouldve accepted it if the appliances were functional and it was clean I gave them 7 months to address the issues with no success so posted pictures along with my concerns online Instead of rectifying things or offering some sort of compensation they merely said that I could leave on 30 days notice Rent is too high for this kind of treatment there hasnt been one month without an issue since moving here after only 7 months The deficiencies included 1 dishwasher filled with brown sludge water replaced after a month 2 pipes under sink smelt due to the dishwasher and lack of use replaced 1 and a half months later 3 balcony door couldnt be opened or closed without much effort because dented 4 washrooms filthy hair found in one tub leaky shower head which they attempted to fix by turning around so it leaked downwards 5 fridge not working replaced three times but still doesnt work now 6 washing machine doesnt clean anything properly damages clothes landlord says because it makes noise when turned on therefore works fine 7 dryer full of lint as hadnt been cleaned fire hazard door opened into wall due to improper installation was fixed but vent at top which is hard for anyone to more ... hide ...

The 445 Sugarcreek Trail building has beautiful apartments with plenty of space but the downside is that it is nearly impossible to contact building management Despite sending numerous emails and making phone calls over the last five weeks none of them have been answered Additionally Im still waiting for a maintenance request to be addressed even though I wa 2022-10-29T08:02:19Z

I had to write a negative review for this management company as I had been living there for two years and moved out about a month ago They held onto too much of my deposit even though I contacted the manager via email before posting the review but no response whatsoever When we were ready to move out we asked the manager about cleaning requirements and she told us in person that if we didnt clean at all she would charge us a fullclean fee however after spending more than 8 hours cleaning the area including window screensbathroom ventsback of refrigeratorback of stoveinside of window handles she still charged us the fullclean fee Unbelievable that they even checked behind appliances as if you can move them Yes it wasnt quite fully clean yet but not worth charging a fullclean fee for thisMoreover when moving in initially there were some issues with the house which they brushed off telling us not to worry about it yet when it came time to do an inspection another person blamed US without knowing any information behind those defects or accepting our explanation Why should tenants be responsible for poor managementThe overall experience was terrible unable to communicate properly with them and then being charged without agreement or having no chance of getting money back more ... hide ...

Ive heard some grievances about Homestead but from my personal experience I havent had any difficulties Compared to other landlords horror stories Homestead does keep up with maintenance and will appear when asked They even went beyond the call of duty and did major renovations for example at Bradstreet they changed all windows restored elevators improved security cameras and entry system and substituted hallway light fixtures which must have cost more than what they were receiving in rent When it comes to overdue payments of which is probably due to pandemic too they are reasonable I lived in two buildings of theirs as a tenant and never had any serious problems Bradstreet NormandyThe staffs behavior towards me has been mixed yet usually professional I was always polite with them which was reciprocated by them In the reviews concerning Vicki specifically people said she wasnt the best but throughout our dealings with each other from viewing the unit to signing the lease there werent any issues like those mentioned in those complaints It could be that these reviewers were inappropriate so Vicki wouldnt tolerate it if so then I understand her stance Even though Homestead is a corporate landlord company there are still employees who care although strict on paperwork unless you really mess up then they wont nitpick rules too much If you experience an issue treat them respectfully or contact their head office at 80 Johnson if need be since personnel changes occur if necessary like the superintendent more ... hide ...

This summer Ive been living at 90 Curtis Crescent for 12 years Generally its been pleasant until the last two years when I encountered multiple issues There are many suspicious occupants drug deals happening and even a crack pipe discovered in the laundry room In addition to that three of my packages have gone missing two from the lobby and one right outside my door which was apparently taken by a tenants guest as revealed to me by Homestead Despite having identified the thief via surveillance footage they were unwilling to offer more help or explain what steps theyre taking to fix this problem As a result Im now forced to get mail delivered elsewhere which is unfair The security is also questionable as front and side entrances are often propped open with flyers or rocks allowing unrestricted access into the building However Homestead has handled cockroaches well so far by fumigating my unit and inspecting units regularly luckily there are none in mine anymore On a positive note 90 Curtis is usually quiet in my hallway and staff friendly moreover theyve done great job revamping aesthetics while efficiently fixingreplacing things within reasonable time frame too If these issues arent solved soon though this place wont be able to attract good tenants anymore which would be unfortunate more ... hide ...
