This building has had a mice infestation for over two decades with my mothers four year stay being no exceptionin fact she continually sees them entering and exiting the building as well as outside residents doors and the parkade Although pest control comes the problem remains unresolved Whats more is that this is largely a seniors residence many of whom have mobility issues the elevators have required repairs for an entire halfyear now leaving tenants to wait inordinately long until one is free When there are moveins or outs there is only one elevator to share between movers and tenants alikenot to mention what could occur should emergency services be necessary Edison Properties needs to prioritize their tenants needs and fix this issue once and for all Disgusting more ... hide ...

I recently had the great pleasure of working with the leasing and management offices at Edgewood Estates It is impossible to express how pleased I am with my experience Shelley and Michelle in the leasing office have been incredibly patient answering my many questions and manager Christine has taken a reasonable approach when it comes to accommodating my requests Edgewood offers a number of amenities such as a pool gym underground heated parking shuttle etc The buildings are clean and quiet many suites have been renovated and can be rented at an affordable cost With stunning views of the river and downtown Winnipeg in the distance I wouldnt want to live anywhere else Im truly thankful for these ladies care during my move they deserve top marks more ... hide ...

The past few years living at Ruth Gardens has been an enjoyable experience Those who run the building are always friendly and helpful with somebody constantly cleaning or repairing things Kasia the Residential Manager is particularly amazing she has a caring heart and is quick to respond to any job that needs doing Tyler and the maintenance crew are also incredibly friendly and professional This facility is one of the best I have ever lived in but unfortunately COVID meant I couldnt use all of its features like the gym and party room as much as Id have liked to however when I did use them they were clean and wellmaintained The staff can be seen cleaning everywhere whilst still taking time for conversation with residents especially for seniors who need assistance whilst keeping quiet between suites The underground parking is great too there could just be more of it A 4 rating from me due to parking issues aside my experience here has been lovely special thanks go out to Kasia who wasis always there when needed more ... hide ...

It has been near a year since I began visiting a friend living in this building and all these months I have witnessed how well kept the hallways parking lot and common areas are It is always peaceful inside plus the Resident Manager has an outstanding demeanor My buddy informed me that the community outside of the building is also great

We have been living in this building for 5 years and weve seen the management of 4 different managers The building is older but we never had any complaints about it until Brenda came along We noticed an abrupt change in attitude towards tenants from her she was rude disregarded our issues threatened us with consequences and even called her husband and the police when I asked her to accept a complaint This year Edison Properties began taking apart our balconies so that forced us to move all of our belongingsbicycles tires barbecues chairs and clothes dryersinside of our suite Our door was boarded up with scaffolding that was later covered in green mesh for the duration of the renovation project which runs daily from 7am until 5pm with loud electric saws welding and concrete hammering sounds On top of all that we are also under Covid restrictions which limits us further as children have to stay home while attending school remotelywhich is impossible due to all the noise We are having headaches within 15 minutes due to this unbearable sound levels blood pressure rising as well as hearts beating wildly fast Despite these conditions we still have to pay full rent on an apartment that now looks like a storage room while receiving a rude attitude from Brenda its unfathomable Tears come out of my impatience over this modern slavery situation Im in theres no way for me rate my experience properly as there isn't such selection here more ... hide ...

Weve been living in our current home for eighteen months and we love it Our neighbours are peaceful no one above us to make noise at all hours and having direct access to the kitchen from the garage is great There are twoandahalf baths one of which is an ensuite amazing Plus a walkin closet super awesome The half bath on the main floor is very convenient too Unfortunately theres no basement so laundry has to be done on the second floor although the hot water tank is rather small so you have to be careful not to do dishes and then try taking a shower right away or youll end up with a cold shower Having a yard and patio area is lovely but some yards don't even require mowing However shoveling our own walkway and driveway in wintertime isn't ideal All in all we really enjoy living here however parking can be quite difficult as management refuses to do anything about it A Dodge Ram has been parked outside of our unit for weeks now who knows if it was abandoned or stolen People sometimes park their cars on their lawns if they have guests over or they may park on Camiel Sys but that can be far depending on where your unit is located Lots of tenants use their garages for storage instead so theres never any space for visitors either way not ideal when you have elderly people visiting The playground almost never gets used more ... hide ...
