ANOVA Central Station

4.4

I recently signed my lease at The Maeve and have been living here for about a month. My mom recommended the community, and Carla made the entire leasing process incredibly easy from start to finish. She was friendly, professional, and always available to answer my questions, making me feel welcome before I even moved in. Even after I moved in, she has continued to be helpful and responsive whenever I’ve needed anything. Carla truly cares about the residents she works with, and it shows. She made my transition into my new home a great experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better leasing agent. Thank you, Carla, for everything you do!

I’ve lived at ANOVA for almost a year and recently renewed my lease, and a big reason for that is Carla. From day one, she has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She is professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and always follows through on any questions or requests I have. Whether it’s replying promptly to emails or simply greeting residents with a warm smile when walking through the community, she consistently goes above and beyond. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about the people she serves, and Carla does exactly that. She has made my experience at Central Station exceptional, and I’m grateful for everything she does. GMH Communities is fortunate to have her on their team!

No hot water several times and over a week on end. Brown water regularly - daily at times. Turned my shower floor piss color and left rust splatters all over. Multiple building water leaks. Displaced once and almost a second time. Water came out of my shower light for weeks and then on my move out day, water was flowing out from my kitchen lights at 3 in the morning. I think this explains the mysterious smell that started showing up last week after the previous major leak that actually didn't displace me this time. Empty units are used for placemaker as a hotel and the guests treat the hallways respectively. Large swaths of the building lose access to water and power for repairs at times. They try to make amends by offering communal temporary units for showers for when the leasing agent are in office. You have to push in writing and show in office to get a better result (your own unit key for a shower to use at your own convenience). They did not honor the leasing contract in the full terms I signed by providing a unit with a greatly diminished market value by the end of my lease. Repair men broke my shower door on the bottom, dented base boards, and scratched the flooring in my unit. Stay tuned to see if I get my deposit back, or if I must sue for the deposit and rent abatements.

Office staff has been phenomenal. Carla in particular has been pleasant to work with. The tour was very straightforward and she was easy to work with. Thank you so much! A decision for a new place to call home has definitely been made!

I was nervous about moving in but Carla made the process so simple and smooth. If you are looking to rent ask for her she’s the goat. Gave me all the info I need and gave me great recommendations of places to go out.
