Kirsten made the experience of moving in low stress and easy. She was quick to reply to my emails and took the time to call me and my mother to put us at ease. She was conscientious when it came to inspecting the apartment and I really felt like she had my back. She has been supportive with maintenance requests and has followed up without fail. I am really grateful to have her as a resource here at 56 North.

I had a wonderful experience securing a lease at 56 North. Moving to the area from out of state was daunting, but Kirsten in the leasing office made every step easy and was incredibly responsive to any questions that came up throughout the process. I especially appreciated her professionalism and understanding when it came to a few road bumps during my application process. Roxanne and Zachary were also very helpful in finding a solution for my late move-in arrival. As for the community and apartment itself, I did extensive research before choosing an apartment, and I am very satisfied that I chose 56 North.

I wasn't gonna say anything, but these crazy generic 5-star reviews especially the ones hyping Roxanne on Yelp are straight up fake. Roxanne's actually one of the main issues: rude, dismissive, and a headache for most residents. Most of these "thank you" reviews on Yelp don't even talk about living here. It's obvious they're trying to hide the real issues. Theft is a huge problem here, and management will blame you instead of trying to prevent it from further happening to other residents. I don't usually complain, but the lies have to stop. Management acts like everything's perfect, but you have to fight for basic fixes and honest management. A tree has been blocking a stairwell for days, and the halls are always dirty and reek. These are just 2 of the MANY issues I've encountered just walking to my unit... I could go on and on but I think you get the point. This place could be decent, but management ruins it. Read the 1-star reviews, they're real.

I lived at 56th North in Desert Ridge for about a year and unfortunately my experience was very mixed. There are definitely some positives. The maintenance team is friendly and responsive, the location is great and close to everything, the pool area is nice, and the price for a two bedroom is very reasonable for the area. That said, there were a lot of ongoing issues that never really got addressed. From day one, the master bathroom toilet had heavy calcium buildup and staining. I mentioned it multiple times during maintenance visits for other issues, but it was never fixed. The guest bathroom sink had visible water damage at move in that was discussed during the walkthrough. Instead of repairing it properly, they just painted over it and said sorry. The washer and dryer were a constant headache. They broke 3 to 4 times during the year. Even after “repairs,” the washer would randomly stop mid cycle and the dryer ruined several pieces of clothing by tangling and ripping buttons and drawstrings. I lost multiple items because of it. The dog park is another big issue. While it looks nice, many residents don’t clean up after their dogs and there’s zero enforcement. There’s often waste all over the ground. Both my dogs got sick after going there, and my vet advised me to avoid it completely. Management didn’t seem to care. The front office staff is very friendly during the tour and move in process, but over time that changed. Communication became dismissive and unhelpful when problems came up. Something else I noticed is that many units around me sat empty for months after people moved out, which says a lot. The complex looks good on the surface, but a lot of things feel like quick cosmetic fixes instead of real maintenance. Overall, the price might look tempting, but the ongoing issues and lack of follow through just weren’t worth it for me. I’m honestly glad to be leaving and would recommend looking at other nearby complexes first.

56 North, is a Beautiful apartment community. The staff, specially Kirsten Dubberke was great and very helpful! She made our move to new apartment very easy and efficient.
