My experience renting at Bison Pointe was absolutely terrible and deserving of a zerostar rating The husband and wife duo that managed my building were unbelievably unprofessional According to the wife she was the manager while her husband only served as caretaker and janitor with no authority She attempted to charge me an extra fee that her husband had said 2022-11-20T00:02:19Z
My experience renting at Bison Pointe was absolutely terrible and deserving of a zerostar rating The husband and wife duo that managed my building were unbelievably unprofessional According to the wife she was the manager while her husband only served as caretaker and janitor with no authority She attempted to charge me an extra fee that her husband had said was already included in rent Every time I asked for repairs or updates I would receive indifference and paperwork which often went undone when they were finished it took monthsThe climax of this experience occurred when the police were called after I expressed my dissatisfaction with the poor job done by the manager along with her belittling attitude something she had taken personally Two men arrived at my door citing a noise complaint but bringing up issues from conversations between myself and this manager suggesting that she had spoken directlyindirectly to them about it She clearly thought of them as hired muscle rather than people doing important work and used them to intimidate me into submission due to what I said earlier totally immoral behavior on her part As another reviewer mentioned these apartments are nothing more than basic units with modern but cheap layouts designed solely for moneygrabbing purposes based off their appeal and location definitely not worth it more ... hide ...

This building has some pleasant staff yet it has had its difficulties Living on the side facing the square office lights make your apartment feel like daytime at night Instead of blackout curtains seethrough blinds have been installed which does not help with the issue Moreover loud construction from the new True North building goes on from 5AM to 10PM break 2022-11-20T01:02:17Z
This building has some pleasant staff yet it has had its difficulties Living on the side facing the square office lights make your apartment feel like daytime at night Instead of blackout curtains seethrough blinds have been installed which does not help with the issue Moreover loud construction from the new True North building goes on from 5AM to 10PM breaking city bylaws and no action is taken against it Additionally a dog howls constantly despite multiple complaints to management over a year but they claim its been taken care of even telling the complainant in public which was unprofessional If you need quiet and darkness for sleeping or working from home then this place isn't ideal as soundcancelling headphones or silicone ear plugs don't work either My husband likes this place as he sleeps through anything and doesnt work from home however I cant enjoy all its perks like Hargrave St Market and walking to Jets games due to exhaustion caused by noise and light levels more ... hide ...

I have been living in this building for a few months and Im delighted with it The Resident Manager is extremely helpful and friendly Theyre always ready to answer any questions even when its not during work hours Maintenance requests are also dealt with rapidly Plus the views are stunning and the apartments soundproof my cat and I couldnt be happier here

If youre on the hunt for a place to call home Kildare Gardens is definitely worth looking into Mira the caretaker is quick to address any maintenance issues that may arise The building itself is wellmaintained with clean laundry rooms and a courtyard thats regularly taken care ofeven in winter when snow needs clearing Highly recommend living here

Ive been residing in my apartment for nearly a year and although there have not been any mice inside I have seen them outside both alive and dead This is very unsanitary especially if you own pets The front desk staff are friendly but don't seem to know what theyre doing As for management they are terrible and only care about money When I moved in September the bathroom tub was already peeling after using the shower for the first time I asked them to fix it but was told that I would be placed on a waiting listnow almost a year later it still has not been fixed and mold is growing in the corners There were also damages from the prior tenant that were promised to be repaired by management yet never donesuch as stains on carpets burn marks on countertops tears in carpets rust on floors dishwasher malfunctioning and warped cupboards The washerdryers are coin operated with only one of each per floor which can cause arguments over who can use them when additionally there have been numerous issues with them eating money without properly washing clothes In regards to being pet friendlyits not really as many people havent had experience with animals especially dogs making it difficult to even let your dog do its business or play around outside Noise is another issue as walls are thin enough that conversations can clearly be heard through them even nearsilent more ... hide ...

Having been a tenant at Kelly House for several years Im well acquainted with the superintendents especially Shaun He quickly deals with any issues I have like a faulty light or leaky faucet just by me sending him a text message On top of this they often carry out projects to upgrade the building during my time here theyve renovated the hallways lightsapartment doorscarpeting retiled the pool and most recently redone the parkade below ground This meant we lost our parking space while they removed and replaced all concrete and rebar however Caroline Senior Property Manager found us alternate indoor parking just two blocks away which was free of cost My worry was that my truck with its high ground clearance wouldnt fit in this new spot but she made sure there wouldnt be an issue for me We eventually returned to our old spots after completion of renovations which brought us heating better lighting and improved drainage its why Kelly House is such a great place to live more ... hide ...
