Living in Westview is a great experience I recently moved here and am already loving it The complex has been bought by a new property management company who are fixing all the things that were neglected under Minto including replacing all fuses boxes inside the units My one bedroom apartment is enormous I have a complete dining room and living room many closets and lots of windows Plus the neighborhood is located close to everything from Westboro beach to the Arboretum grocery stores and even 24h Shoppers Drug Mart Last but not least the building manager is extremely knowledgeable about his work and does whatever he can to be accommodating more ... hide ...

I have lived in this building owned by Vertica for over six years and the quality has been declining Cleaning is not up to par Ive encountered bed bugs and cockroaches more than ever before Workers enter my suite without warning even in emergencies My fob has randomly been deactivated without explanation and the numbers provided go to a call centre where someone will get back to you eventually but no immediate service is offered Repairs for mould were a struggle to get done properly and instead of fixing the hot tub beside the pool they spent money on moving offices from one building to another They are constantly filing appeals for rent that exceeds what they are allowed annually its ridiculous There are so many other stories I could tell about this terrible experience with this company more ... hide ...

This building is old smells of cigarettes and lacks air conditioning The hallways reek of smoke and the construction material is not up to modern standards resulting in much noise Those living here must face showers of sweat due to the lack of air conditioning as well as no amenities For a building with all these issues its unbelievable that rent starts at 1 2022-10-03T04:32:17Z

This building may have a great location and reasonable prices but the living experience has been awful since I moved in There are numerous issues with my unit such as cigarette smoke from the bathroom vent weak water pressure peeling paint bugs and more Additionally the elevators are always stuck or broken and drop slightly when youre in them The hallways on each floor are also dark as their motion sensors don't work The staff is unhelpful and rude they failed to mention that hydro would be expensive with extra fees Maintenance requests take days to be fulfilled even then the superintendent often doesnt solve anything They allow construction from 7am to 8pm without warning us beforehand which is quite disruptive Moreover theres a lot of dog barking due to owners neglecting their pets which goes unchecked by staff carpets also smell like manure all around the building making it unpleasant In summary do not live here at any cost more ... hide ...

My experience with Smart Living has been anything but satisfactory The management shows no consideration for tenants or staff and theyre nothing short of slumlords given their negligence in repairing necessities such as heat and water If complaints are made theyll try to gaslight you and belittle you Moreover the privacy aspect of their apartments is really lacking with illegal entries taking place on a regular basis Youd do well to take note of all the bad reviews before signing a lease Smart Living will go out of its way to disappoint you especially considering the amount thats charged for rent To anyone still debating it I suggest looking into emails from November sent to the resident service email during this time as it may help explain what happened Personally Im not interested in discussing these issues any further after 6 conversations with management have gone nowhere Thanks for your sudden interest now that things have been going on for months more ... hide ...

This building is in a slumit has flooding issues mouldy baseboards bed bugs and cockroach infestations nasty brown growth in the ceiling vents which may contain asbestos and other maintenance issues In unit 109 I experienced bubbles coming out of the kitchen sink and the entire bathroom had to be redrywalled because all the walls were rotten The landlord had a safety audit done but then rerented it anyway when I left early after paying Julys rent and my last months deposit they kept both payments to cover a contract company repair The paint and cupboards hide a horrorscene of health hazards that they wont admit to This building likes to rob their tenants instead of protecting their safety as they should I have posted a copy of the current file on unit 109 1440 mayview since they decided to go ahead with renting after telling the LTB everything was okay even though there was evidence that repairs had been contracted They even accused me of holding the unit hostage before my paid time was up This has been an ongoing issue since I moved in 35 years agothe rent was 900 because no one wanted it due to its condition more ... hide ...

My threeyear experience living in a Riverview Coronation Estates apartment owned and managed by Byron Rental Properties was absolutely incredible Management was always responsive and helpful and Doug the superintendent was kind friendly and worked very hard He even assisted me with moving my furniture when I purchased my home Furthermore all of my neighbour 2022-10-03T18:02:17Z
