I resided in the Col By Towers for 5 years, up until January 2017 and would recommend it to anyone. Cleanliness was stellar and its position in the Glebe was ideal; the flats were spacious, light-filled and well organized. The staff members and occupants were pleasant people, many of whom had been living there long-term. Sadly, prices have doubled since improvements (granite countertops, wooden cabinets, stainless steel appliances) were implemented at Lansdowne Park. It does not have central air conditioning but window units do a satisfactory job. The only downside to the building's age is that water will be shut off for everyone if repairs need to be carried out in one unit - however this is not too inconvenient for those who are out from 9am - 5pm on weekdays. Regrettably my budget no longer allows me to move back even if I desired so.

This building is old, smells of cigarettes and lacks air conditioning. The hallways reek of smoke and the construction material is not up to modern standards, resulting in much noise. Those living here must face showers of sweat due to the lack of air conditioning, as well as no amenities. For a building with all these issues, it's unbelievable that rent starts at 1800; much less than other apartments with pools, gyms, entertainment/movie rooms and AC for the same price. Therefore it's advised to avoid this building at all costs!
