Terrible administration not only from Landlord Eugene but also Marra at the head office... breach of contract and false information after discovering rotten windows in unit 108 @ 3528 Downpatrick. This would not have been found had another tenant not indicated it; Eugene stated that the windows were newly changed, whereas this was untrue. No consideration given to the fact that rent had already been paid and a lease signed. Not provided with 24 hour notice when someone entered the unit. Contractors did an improper job for repairs to be done on unit; they made a sloppy effort, leaving it unclean and unhygienic. The only way to get work done in this property is going through Elgin's head office.

Renting from Metcap is a definite no-no. I've been living in this building for over three years, and things were doing well with the former property management (Paramount Company). Since the change of management, however, it's been all downhill; renovations have caused cockroaches to infest my unit and even after two months nothing has been done about it. Even minor maintenance requests take forever to be addressed - I filled out a form twice to get some foam put into gaps in the walls and cupboards, yet after more than a month staff still haven't shown up.
