It would be wise to avoid Boardwalk Properties as a rental option What I heard prior to moving in was accurate The customer service staff in the office were polite but they gave me false information I had agreed to a sixmonth lease which cost an extra 100 per month than it would have for a yearlong lease They knew from the start that I was buying a house and told me that I could move out when that happened without being charged for the remainder of the month or months however when I gave them one and a half months notice they said theyd still charge me for last month even if it was empty In addition they asked for an extra 200 on top of everything else and I couldnt use my bathroom sink from day one because it leaked and continued leaking after it supposedly got fixed The appliances were falling apart too It took two weeks just to get through to the property manager who said none of this mattered anyway Homeless people were sleeping inside of the building at night despite there supposedly being security onsite which turned out not to be true after 11pm furthermore there was furniture by the front door which had been thrown away by someone else but my husband ended up throwing it away himself since he got tired of looking at it all month long Cleaners only came around every three days so they didnt see any of this either My advice never rent from Boardwalk Properties private owners are much more caring and more ... hide ...

When I moved in I was shocked to find the residence overrun with cockroaches The landlord came and sprayed without prior warning which caused me distress due to my emphysema Furthermore bathroom fixtures and the bathtub had some of their finish worn off The kitchen was oldfashioned and unsightly Additionally the smoke detector would go off for no reason when 2022-09-25T12:32:17Z

I received one star due to having to but I would definitely not recommend Central Tower as a place to rent I was moving out due to work transfer and found the managing staff incompetent and punitive Despite leaving my unit cleaner than when I moved in with hardly any wear and tear they charged me over 300 for painting which wasnt done before I moved in among other items According to the Alberta Residential Tenancy Act this should have been considered normal wear and tear The individual who did the moveout inspection commented on how clean it was too Moreover when I requested early termination of my lease agreement there was difficulty explaining what needed to be done as the building manager seemed not to understand her own lease agreement It required calling head office downtown Edmonton who confirmed what should be done according to their lease agreement which eluded the onsite manager who then apologized afterwards All in all it was an awful experience due to poor understanding of their own agreements by managing staff coupled with underhanded tactics during moveout that ended up costing me money for no valid reason thus never again more ... hide ...

I would give no stars if I could Avoid Patry at all costs The management is terrible and they will try to scam you out of every penny When my roommate and I chose a unit at 539 Armstrong we thought that the further away from downtown Kingston we were the better the building would be run Unfortunately an Uber driver who picked us up gave us numerous stories about Patrys management team if only we had listened We were told that our unit came with a washer and dryer included when we saw it but when movein date arrived there werent any machines The property manager tried to make excuses for this saying that someone had supposedly mispoken On movein day the place was filthy crumbs everywhere in addition to holes in walls not filled or plastered over plus a broken bedroom window and a broken dishwasher door which took two weeks to repair In November it got extremely cold so our heat went out despite calling maintenance multiple times nothing happened until my frustrated voicemail prompted them to send small heating fans which really didnt help much Furthermore there was drama regarding parking spots given by management yet still receiving threatening letters from other tenants about how Id taken their spot on top of this when moving out after months of trying I never received my key deposit back nor proof as requested that the place was dirty after we left it spotless on moveout date Another issue included bills not being more ... hide ...
