Im perplexed by the unfavorable ratings it appears people anticipate a modern building yet this one was constructed in 1967 No it shouldnt be demolished who would even think that Yes its aged but whats wrong with that There are many occupants here who have resided here for numerous years True the lobby could use a facelift no doubt however the apartments themselves are wonderful Ive never spotted a single cockroach in my five years residing here which leads me to speculate where that opinion emerged from Yes you can discern your neighbors cooking aromas in the hallways like most apartment buildings It is an inexpensive alternative to other downtown apartments so Im again unsure of where that comment originated from If you desire brand new then this isn't your place Elevators are sluggish no dishwashers and shared laundry machines in the basement If you desire large apartments with expansive balconies overlooking Victoria Park expansive windows and gorgeous original wood floors plus huge bedrooms within walking distance to great restaurants stores then this is for you It doesnt have all of the amenities of brand new buildings but part of its allure lies there too expect a mix of teens and young adults as well as families and retirees as well more ... hide ...

We three families who moved into the building are not royalty The good thing about this building is that its within walking distance to the subway and close to Food BasicShoppers Unfortunately there are many bad aspects including 1 its dirty cleaners show up once a week and garbage bins are always overflowing 2 due to lack of maintenance it is very old many areas falling apart 3 neighbors don't care for each other they walk and laugh loudly in the corridors late at night and slam doors 4 shockingly there have been issues with bodily waste in the stairwells which staff and management don't seem to care about 5 there is an abundance of illegal parking as well as drug use in basementstairwells To conclude try to avoid living here if you can but if not then be sure to see it several times before moving in because if you do move in you will be locked into a year of misery and regret especially for those with children I wish I could give them zero stars because one star is too generous more ... hide ...
