3.3

I honestly hate writing this review because I really wanted to have a good experience living here, but after everything we’ve dealt with, I feel like potential future residents deserve to know what our experience has been like. The problems honestly started before we even moved in. We drove 26 hours from Indiana to Arizona, only to find out our apartment wasn’t ready and we had to wait an entire week because it supposedly needed to be “cleaned.” We had to pay for a hotel for that first week, only to finally move in and find that the apartment still wasn’t clean. There was dust throughout the apartment and dirt everywhere. Since then, it has been one issue after another. We’ve had an ongoing roach problem that pest control has not been able to resolve, our dishwasher started leaking and had to be disconnected by maintenance because they said they couldn’t fix it, and our refrigerator broke, causing us to throw away all of our food. We’ve also had our AC go out, which is especially frustrating living in Arizona. We’ve had multiple serious water issues as well, including a sewage water leak in our kitchen and, more recently, a massive pipe burst that caused significant water damage and ultimately broke our vanity. What has been most frustrating throughout all of this is the lack of communication and urgency. I understand that things break and maintenance issues happen, but when you’re dealing with sewage, major leaks, no AC, or broken appliances, you expect the property to communicate clearly and handle the situation with urgency. Instead, we’ve repeatedly felt like we have to chase down updates and answers ourselves. At this point, it’s hard to see these as isolated incidents. From the apartment not being ready when we drove across the country to move here, to the ongoing maintenance, pest, appliance, and water issues, it has been an exhausting experience. I’m sharing this because I wish we had known what to expect before moving here. If you’re considering this property, I would strongly recommend spending a little bit more time and looking into other options.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This has been the worst living experience of my life. The water is constantly being shut off, the air conditioning barely works, and we’ve had a leak that management has done little to nothing about. They either ignore the issue or make excuses until you threaten legal action. On top of that, the security is terrible. There are frequently homeless individuals outside the entrance to the complex, and some even jump the fence and sit near residents’ doors. It does not feel safe. The leasing office will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to sign a lease, but once you’re moved in, you’re on your own. We’ve also had to deal with roaches and scorpions inside the apartment. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I would not recommend living here.

Kevin's gone but new guy Juan is a friendly guy, got my ac set up pretty quick. Staff at the office are very nice too. Caitlin is the homie. Decent units. The ac controls are outdated.

Living at Ardella on 28th in Phoenix's North Mountain Village neighborhood has been such a treat, with my newly renovated apartment featuring a chef-inspired kitchen with granite countertops, walk-in closets, and even my own in-unit washer and dryer. The community amenities make life even better, from lounging at the large swimming pool and sundeck to working out at the on-site fitness center and gathering with neighbors at the courtyard BBQ area. I feel completely secure here thanks to the gated community with 24-hour availability, on-site management, and maintenance staff always on hand. As a pet owner, I love that both cats and dogs are welcome, making this such a pet-friendly place to call home. With North Mountain Park and Lookout Mountain Preserve nearby for hiking, plus shopping at Metrocenter and easy access to Downtown Phoenix, the location is absolutely perfect.

The agent was very professional and kind. It went downhill from there. I didn't expect tp live in a concrete jungle. Not a blade of grass to be found, pending the new dog park you claim is under construction now, but it will be behind the complex. The ONLY ground floor (nor half underground) was the studio right up front. I currently live in a studio apartment comfortably, but the additional 45 sf makes a huge difference. On my way home I decided that I can't sleep on my lovesest and getting rid of my adjustable bed isn't an option. Your studio is just too small.
