We have been living in this building for 5 years, and we've seen the management of 4 different managers. The building is older but we never had any complaints about it until Brenda came along. We noticed an abrupt change in attitude towards tenants from her; she was rude, disregarded our issues, threatened us with consequences and even called her husband and the police when I asked her to accept a complaint. This year Edison Properties began taking apart our balconies so that forced us to move all of our belongings-bicycles, tires, barbecues, chairs and clothes dryers-inside of our suite. Our door was boarded up with scaffolding that was later covered in green mesh for the duration of the renovation project which runs daily from 7am until 5pm with loud electric saws, welding and concrete hammering sounds. On top of all that we are also under Covid restrictions which limits us further as children have to stay home while attending school remotely-which is impossible due to all the noise! We are having headaches within 15 minutes due to this unbearable sound levels; blood pressure rising as well as hearts beating wildly fast.
