This place is not worth living in After spending a winter here and informing the front office about the window condensation dripping on to my bed their response was to open my window during winter I was planning to move out earlier but then COVID19 happened and my income became uncertain Furthermore I told them that mold spores were landing close to my bed as it had to be placed against the wall due to lack of space My mattress also became moldy Paying rent here each month was a struggle as keeping mildew off the walls seemed impossible Upon moving out I noticed how bad it actually was at bottom of walls The gym went through construction most times while I stayed here 15 yrs which resulted in cockroaches entering higher floors hence exterminators came every 46 weeks for some time period Also being located near hospital means sirens going off frequently throughout night which can be problematic if you are a light sleeper additionally construction noises on street below reportedly go on until 330am sometimes this alone makes living here an absolute headache Mail theft has also been reported by residents Staff is generally nice but their response left me with no choice but bear mildew and mold growth in apartment another resident complained about same issue yet received same answer from staff If you decide upon staying here good luck as there are better options available for cheaper price range more ... hide ...

Cons During showings in August the building was cold due to the air conditioning being on We decided to move in because of this but when a heatwave hit we found that no air was coming out of the vents even though they were open After contacting management they said it was because they were return vents pulling air from outside and did not offer an explanation as to why no air was still coming out with it being cold and rainy outside They had also initially given notice for one day installation for screens on windows and doors but this ended up taking four days instead which caused many people to have to adjust their work schedules Additionally not all units received screens on their doors due to management finding it too expensive to replace nonsliding ones This means there are often wasps entering my unit without a way for them getting out which is concerning with young children living there who may get stung There has been an ongoing issue with lack of hot water where you must call the building manager and wait 3040 minutes after resetting the boiler before seeing if it worked successfully this has been happening over the past month with no solution yet in sight Furthermore agents had declared it would be soundproof during showings however this is not true as noise from fire hall across street highway and neighbors can be heard quite clearly meeting attendees complained about this yet only suggestion given by management was trying keep quiet or buying more area rugs nothing concrete offered as a solution here more ... hide ...
