I had the misfortune of living in this place from September 2015 to July 2016 which is where my bf and I first got together We thought it was great but it quickly became apparent that wasnt the case There were roaches everywhere that no amount of spraying could fix when we tried to break our lease due to the infestation we were blamed for being messy and ref 2022-10-12T14:32:17Z
I had the misfortune of living in this place from September 2015 to July 2016 which is where my bf and I first got together We thought it was great but it quickly became apparent that wasnt the case There were roaches everywhere that no amount of spraying could fix when we tried to break our lease due to the infestation we were blamed for being messy and refused a refund After leaving my cat died two weeks later due to poison exposure My BFs bearded dragon also passed away while living therewe believe as a result of toxins too On top of all this they sent us to collections for the last two months rent despite promising not to if they found another tennant which they did We had no choice but to throw out everything we owned and start new lives elsewhere Additionally they wouldnt even let me get mail sent there by mistake This place has several other issues too so if you know whats good for you RUN AWAY Don't move here unless you want to lose pretty much everything you ownpossibly even your beloved pets too more ... hide ...

Since December 2018 I have been living here and havent had a single negative experience The lobby hallways and common areas are clean and in good shape the management is friendly and accommodating and the apartments are bright with no signs of wear The walls are concrete so noise isn't an issue I just sometimes hear my downstairs neighbor or someone passing 2022-09-15T02:32:17Z

I have had two regrettable experiences with this Torontobased building and its personnel When I was first hired I found out that I was considered an independent contractor instead of an employee although it is not a problem in itself the building provided hours and breaks to me which should not be the case To make matters worse my job entailed cleaning in addition to helping flip apartments with other contractors The maintenance man was over eighty years old and used his one leg plus a jigsaw in one hand or a skill saw with no guard attachment dangerous beyond belief Furthermore the woman who managed rentals and paychecks had been convicted of fraud related to bookkeeping something that made headlines locally It did not stop there she was openly racist towards anyone who wasnt white particularly against my wife from Trinidad which led to me being dismissed from my job as cleaner after previously receiving praise for how well I kept it clean Three years later David the owner contacted my wife offering me work once again however this time it would be onsite helping flip apartments as some other staff had left But he hadnt gotten rid of the previous supervisor yet she still held her position despite her prior actions until eventually she got fired too During this time period at Alliance Properties though I saw firsthand how they wanted things done when sent to a unit where condensation behind the wall caused it to bulge outwards instead more ... hide ...
