Ive lived at 2861 baycrest for a year and the pool was never opened despite being promised when I moved in it was one of the main reasons I chose this place The toilet didnt work properly in the first week either so thank goodness I still had my other apartment It took many weeks to get it fixed as it kept breaking after a few days The water never got hot until my last month there and now it doesnt even get cold on the warm setting its too hot to put your hands under The parking is chaotic with people being assigned to my spot because they have no organization thus meaning I have to find somewhere else if the office is closed Garage doors are left open all the time which defeats their purpose for security purposes Furthermore elevators are always malfunctioning and can take up to 10 minutes just to arrive once all three broke down at once Getting hold of the main office is almost impossible as they close during weird hours and don't respond to voicemails even if you do manage to call them they usually cant help with anything In addition using cards to pay for laundry machines often doesnt work as they often break down for days at a time not only that but driers don't function either so you must dry two loads together Washers smell like theyve never been cleaned while bugs scuttle around your clothes Don't be deceived by shiny more ... hide ...

My friend and I have been living here for almost ten years so we experienced the change in ownership when CLV bought the property from Andrews Brothers which resulted in a Renoviction campaign that caused many people to move away due to noise and rent increases We moved into our twobedroom corner unit paying less than 1000 with utilities included The heating was subpar paint job old fashioned cabinets falling apart carpet ancient and appliances outdated all of which were tolerable with that price Nowadays though Management refuses to replace anything that isn't on fire Chad the building manager refused to replace the carpet since we have cats although it was old when we moved in Our stovetop has two burners that only work on its highest setting and kitchen drawers have been deteriorating for two years but my gluing skills are better than those of maintenance team So if you intend to move here youll be alright The only ones they neglect are those who couldnt withstand their pointless renovations or expensive rents However one thing remains unchanged the laundry room still sucks regardless of how much money you pay more ... hide ...

If I could rate this apartment Id give it 35 stars Its been my home for the past 35 years and has proven to be a safe and quiet place to live with great superintendents who are always on call and close proximity to stores and medical centersThe only issue I have is with their leasing office management They often switch staff members and the transition of information is not very smooth We all paid a deposit for the gym key but when it came time to move out they werent very willing to give our money back without us having to ask multiple times I had to call them four times The manager said that she had no right over it that it was up to accounting but she never filed any request either so now the next manager has to fix up the previous ones mistake because they don't seem have well established policies in regards of giving tenants their money backBesides that minor problem Id definitely recommend this apartment as a nice place for someone looking for a home more ... hide ...
