The location of the apartments managed by Osgoode is great for students as its right by the transit way and the superintendents are very kind However management is terrible and some staff are great but most have been unprofessional Friends who have lived in these apartments all decided to relocate after being unsatisfied with their experience In individual situations questions were handled well however any issues concerning maintenance pesticide treatments or notices were horrendous to deal with Maintenance was slow and disorganized tenants also faced distress due to unexpected charges when they had less than a business days notice of a pesticide treatment Friday night while they were away The elevators often needed repairs and pigeons caused problems but there was nothing that could be done about it A positive feature was the shared pool which wasnt very busy however tenants felt like numbers rather than people which is unfortunate more ... hide ...

My partner and I have been living in apartment 2995 of this building since June 2013 Weve occupied three different floors for various personal reasons and we havent regretted any of them Weve seen the company employ around 34 office managers all of whom were capable While some were more liked than others none were bad whatsoever Another positive is that all utilities are included which makes budgeting simpler since its not easy to find this in the city When it comes to concerns they respond immediately and pest control is always on point Ive only spotted a few small ants drawn to sweet things Considering thats the worst I have experienced Im content with it being so effortless to take care of All in all if someone needs an uncomplicated place to stay before settling down into a home then apartment 2995 would be my recommendationEdit August 2022Im adding an update due to having a roach infestation over the past year now though they come quickly when called upon to spray my unit this has gone from happening once a year up until recently when it increased monthly and even four times in one month They need to do more than just address my individual unit this situation is really disheartening considering I have inhabited the building for over nine years without any issues until now more ... hide ...

The apartment has two listings on Google which is odd so heres a brief summary of my previous review The office and maintenance staff are generally polite articulate and friendly however the office hours are short and afterhours support can be difficult to access Before the pandemic requests would be handled in 1014 business days but could take up to a month for completion Currently only emergency requests are being taken care of due to valid reasons The building is often under repair which can be both good or bad amenities that were installed previously must remain closed but rent has not changed except for legally allowed increases The ceilings and floors are quite porous meaning noise is often heard from neighbours such as music or footsteps Most apartments have 4 electrical fuses at maximum so it may be necessary to use the stove for higher amperage appliances like kettles in order to avoid blowing a fuse Appliances installed in the building are older but dependable flooring is clean and usable while balconies usually need painting work done on them but still provide plenty of space Bathrooms may be small yet still useful with low water pressure but hot water is plentiful pipes tend to run brownyellow after repairs even for hours afterward Heating during winter can get too intense since tenants cannot control thermostat depending on outside temperature changes furthermore tech infrastructure offers cableDSL with competitive speeds while fibre was physically installed yet no companies offer it as an option currently living there more ... hide ...
