The location of the apartments managed by Osgoode is great for students as it's right by the transit way, and the superintendents are very kind. However, management is terrible and some staff are great, but most have been unprofessional. Friends who have lived in these apartments all decided to relocate after being unsatisfied with their experience. In individual situations, questions were handled well; however any issues concerning maintenance, pesticide treatments or notices were horrendous to deal with. Maintenance was slow and disorganized; tenants also faced distress due to unexpected charges when they had less than a business day's notice of a pesticide treatment (Friday night while they were away). The elevators often needed repairs and pigeons caused problems, but there was nothing that could be done about it. A positive feature was the shared pool which wasn't very busy; however tenants felt like numbers rather than people which is unfortunate.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from 1725 Riverside Drive. The winter cold is unbearable, as heating issues have been brought up multiple times to the building staff with no improvement. We had to purchase our own space heater to keep warm. Doors and windows are poorly insulated and drafts are very obvious. Hallways aren't cleaned regularly and requests for repairs usually result in subpar contractors being hired; it took four attempts to fix faulty plumbing in the bathroom, two for the kitchen (which still isn't fixed), and even worse - bed bugs were found without any prior warning or preventative measures from the property manager when those living directly below reported them! Pigeons nest on balconies, which were completely ignored by Kingsview when we reported it; we ended up closing off the balcony from then on, losing outdoor furniture in the process. Moving here was definitely a mistake - save yourself trouble & don't go near this place!

Living at Kingsview for the last 8 years, I've seen a lot of changes like the construction of Hospital Link Road and the renovation of the parking garage. Despite this, it's been worth it; this building is well-maintained with helpful and kind maintenance staff and beautiful landscaping that gets compliments every year. My favorite are the peonies! Especially during Covid-19, they did a great job quickly implementing physical distancing protocols, increased cleaning measures, hand sanitizers everywhere and mandatory masks to make us all feel safe. Something really special about living here is that every year we have a Christmas party for tenants plus candy on Valentine's Day and regular "grab & go" breakfast events - these make me feel welcome as part of the community. To conclude: an amazing place to live! As further proof of this - today I asked one of the caretakers if he could help me move an old mattress I'd managed to get as far as my living room but knew there was no way I'd get it on the elevator by myself; he said yes & soon two caretakers showed up with a cart to take it away - thank you so much!
