Living in a College Courts Townhouse for two semesters had largely been a negative experience Despite paying almost 800 a month for rent with three other roommates the walls were paper thin making it possible to hear conversations from neighboring houses In addition the basement bedrooms were always cold despite adjusting the furnace and CHOC staff did nothing to address this issue Furthermore all tenants paid the same rent but only one bathroom upstairs was equipped with a full bathshower while the other was just a single stall shower The parking lots and sidewalks also werent maintained during winter and lacked lights or security cameras resulting in multiple vehicle thefts On top of that laundry expenses were high due to dirty machines damaging clothing All of these factors adversely impacted my learning outcomes as I had to struggle through daily academic commitments despite residing on campus itself which was probably its only positive aspect Thus I would strongly advise seeking off campus housing since there are numerous good options around more ... hide ...

At Corian Apartments the customer service given by the property manager is excellent Donna the manager is very kind and responsive to text messages and phone calls regarding any questions The quality of the residence has been wonderful my family wife daughter 2 years and myself are all loving living there

I lived in a condo downtown for two years paying premium prices due to its location During my stay my vehicle was broken into and damaged multiple times due to the higher crime rate The building was advertised as adult only but there were often children screaming that could be heard through the walls while I was trying to sleep or work Additionally kids from 2022-10-17T23:32:17Z
I lived in a condo downtown for two years paying premium prices due to its location During my stay my vehicle was broken into and damaged multiple times due to the higher crime rate The building was advertised as adult only but there were often children screaming that could be heard through the walls while I was trying to sleep or work Additionally kids from the family above my parking stall would drop things into my car scratching the paint Maintenance workers would finish tasks but mark them complete without actually resolving the issue making me have to contact management for assistance It gets extremely hot in summer 30 and air conditioners are not able to be plugged in since outlets cant handle it so air conditioning cannot be used leading to overheating in summer months Water shutoffs were frequent and we were warned not use water lines between 9am5pm which was inconvenient when working from home as I often received notice on same day of shutoff On a positive note renovated suites look very modern and nice while it isn't perfect youll get an authentic Edmonton experience living here more ... hide ...

My girlfriend and I have been living in this place for nearly a year and our experience has been very good After seeing numerous negative reviews about Lyla on the internet we were pleasantly surprised to find that she was actually quite nice when dealing with us When we were found to be in violation of strata regulations by having a deep freeze on our balcony she called us up but was not rude or impolite Another instance where she helped us out was when we asked her to watch over our laptop bag while we were away thankfully she was more than willing to do so In terms of sound issues that other reviews have brought up luckily the people around us are very quiet Thats something you risk when living in an apartment building like this though theres little you can do if your neighbours have children The storage space is great and most people seem friendly too even those on Strata Council show signs of being cordial The clubhouse also boasts a pool table which is pretty cool We plan on eventually buying a suite here as it has been such an enjoyable experience so far more ... hide ...

I would give Aspen Court a rating lower than 1 star if I could Do not rent this property as it is ridden with bugs and reeks of cigarettes Laundry services are available for 2 a load to wash and dry but you may have to try multiple machines before finding one that works properly The company doesnt care about the building or its tenants its merely an easy way 2022-10-05T17:32:16Z
