Living here for almost two years has been a mixture of good and bad. The strata is strict but if you are a respectful tenant, there won't be any issues. My main concern is the lack of soundproofing which causes noise from upstairs neighbors with two young children, like every step, fall, run and fit they have. Even their snoring at night can be heard! On the bright side, the location is great - in the center of lower mission near all amenities and only 10 minutes away from Rotary Beach. The complex's inside/outside common areas are well-maintained and my place is modern and spacious with plenty of storage space; nothing to complain about there.

This is a terrible place to live if you are not Lyla Cambridge, the president of the strata council. She is on a huge power trip and won't hesitate to come knocking at your door, no matter what time it is or what you're doing. The complex looks alright, but there's no air conditioning in hallways and carpets are dirty. There are also nosy people all around who might make you uncomfortable living your daily life. One such person is a blonde woman on floor 2 with a chihuahua - she's so fake and awful; she spreads lies and harasses families if babies cry or eavesdrops outside doors. Also, someone was almost stabbed by an intruder here but nothing has been done about it yet! Everyone else in the building isn't bad though; just avoid these two individuals. To sum up: don't rent or buy here - it would be your biggest mistake ever!

My girlfriend and I have been living in this place for nearly a year, and our experience has been very good. After seeing numerous negative reviews about Lyla on the internet, we were pleasantly surprised to find that she was actually quite nice when dealing with us. When we were found to be in violation of strata regulations by having a deep freeze on our balcony, she called us up but was not rude or impolite. Another instance where she helped us out was when we asked her to watch over our laptop bag while we were away; thankfully, she was more than willing to do so. In terms of sound issues that other reviews have brought up, luckily the people around us are very quiet. That's something you risk when living in an apartment building like this though- there's little you can do if your neighbours have children! The storage space is great and most people seem friendly too - even those on Strata Council show signs of being cordial! The clubhouse also boasts a pool table which is pretty cool. We plan on eventually buying a suite here as it has been such an enjoyable experience so far.
