We visited some units in the building so lets start with the good points The manager was very friendly and the edifice was kept clean furthermore the residents we met seemed to be elderly and calm Unfortunately one of the two elevators was not functioning and when we rode on the other one it had a door malfunction which forced us to walk down several floors 2022-09-23T03:32:17Z
We visited some units in the building so lets start with the good points The manager was very friendly and the edifice was kept clean furthermore the residents we met seemed to be elderly and calm Unfortunately one of the two elevators was not functioning and when we rode on the other one it had a door malfunction which forced us to walk down several floors The construction is oldfashioned and it looks aged inside there doesnt appear to be any renovations done in it either The kitchens were from decades ago plus their dishwashers were at least 30 years old Countertops were as antiquated as their kitchenware aside from one unit which had relatively new carpets that hadnt been changed for 20 years probably Whenever I view apartments I always stay silent for a bit to see if I can hear mechanical noises all of these units had a distinct humming sound that may be bearable during daytime but annoying once nightfall comes by It is preposterous that they charge 1500 for a 2bedroom flat without even offering underground parking and increase rent by 25 annually on top of that more ... hide ...

The Swan Evergreen facility is nearly new and situated in a convenient area soon to have easy access to the ring road Our family member resides in a Supported Living suite here and receives care for Alzheimers The staff are professional courteous and seem to really care about the residents Over the past year or so they have been great to work with and very helpful when dealing with problems associated with this degenerative condition There are many activities offered daily such as exercise classes a beauty salon theater room pool table dance floor cash bar happy hour and snacks on each floor Additionally there is laundry service and housekeeping available Knowing our relative is being taken care of in such a pleasant atmosphere gives us peace of mind The team at Swan Evergreen strive for excellence in their caregiving efforts more ... hide ...

I stayed in this building for 3 years and uncovered lots of issues with the building and management There was a mouse infestation throughout the entire complex and management didnt do much to help To make matters worse if you had kids the premises werent familyfriendly as it was forbidden to play in the courtyard and noise complaints would result in fines The building manager also made false claims when I moved in they said Id get brand new appliances but that proved untrue as there were crumbs in the dishwasher and grease on the stove This was all verbal so there wasnt any way for me to hold them accountable Its best to get any promises from them down on paper or via email for your own protection When moving out I had patched up holes from wall decorations and sanded them but still needed a whole paint job however this was stated as needing repair which put me at a disadvantage for getting my damage deposit back when painting due to wear tear is actually necessary for all new tenants Parkview Village Harpar Investments should take responsibility for their apartments quality without relying solely on tenants currently theyre not doing enough and are using tactics which are insulting while trying to save money at our expense thus it wont be worth more than 1 star until improvements have been made with regards to their management system more ... hide ...
