Copyright and Content Complaints

How to report an unauthorized photograph, description, or other content and request a review of a copyright concern.

Effective October 12, 2026

Respecting content rights

FriendlyLandlord expects contributors to upload only content they are authorized to use. Owning or managing a building does not automatically confer copyright in photographs taken by another person. Attribution alone does not necessarily authorize copying.

Reporting a concern

Send a copyright complaint to info@friendlylandlord.com. Identify the work you own or represent, the exact page or image location you challenge, and how we can contact you. Explain your authority, why you believe the use is unauthorized, and any relevant license information. Attach or link to supporting information that does not expose unrelated private data. We may request clarification, contact the uploader, or restrict access while reviewing the complaint. We may remove content or suspend repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Some complaint details may need to be shared with the uploader or relevant advisers to investigate and respond. Do not use a copyright complaint to settle an unrelated ownership, reputation, or pricing dispute. If your content is removed and you believe there was a mistake, reply to the notice or email us with the page, your rights or license, and an explanation. This general review process does not waive either party's legal rights.

Scope of this contact channel

This email is our general copyright-reporting contact. Reporting a concern here does not limit any statutory notice, counter-notice, or other remedy available under applicable law. Do not submit a false complaint or claim rights you do not hold.
