An 85-acre Life Plan campus with apartments, villas and casitas.

Sagewood combines independent living apartments, villas and casitas on an 85-acre Sonoran Desert campus. Apartments have full kitchens, washers and dryers, walk-in closets, balconies or patios and reserved underground parking. Larger residence types add studies, private garages and outdoor living areas. Its Life Plan model uses an entrance payment and monthly service fees rather than a conventional apartment lease.

The campus includes indoor and outdoor pools, pickleball courts, an 18-hole putting course, movie theaters and two clubhouses. Creative spaces include a craft studio, painting studio and woodshop. Desert Willow provides assisted living and memory care, while Acacia Health Center provides rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing.

Inside the home.

Independent living apartments: Full kitchens with full-size appliances, walk-in closets, a balcony or patio and a washer and dryer in each residence.
Villa arrangements: The 1,837–1,907-square-foot villas have studies and covered patios. Upper-floor villas have 14-foot ceilings and clerestory windows; ground-floor villas have front porches and back patios. Private detached two-car garages are nearby.
Estate single casitas: Detached homes include a media room, study, guest casita with its own entrance, kitchenette and bathroom, covered patio with an outdoor cooking center, and a two-car garage with a golf-cart garage.
Desert Willow residences: Private one- or two-bedroom assisted living residences. Features include a refrigerator and microwave, living room, walk-in closet and a bathroom with a roll-in shower.
