When COVID19 arrived I discovered the Barrel Yards site and was impressed by their focus on tidy wellconstructed rental suites with many excellent condo amenities When the chance came to move out of the GTA I recalled the Barrel Yards and was thrilled to see The Cooperage The Onyx and The Staves buildings now ready With its tightlypacked dwellings next to an attractively designed park and a highly walkable area near Uptown shopping center exactly what more communities need its precisely what I had been searching forjust not in Toronto Reg from the Leasing Office welcomed me warmly with information on availability and prices as we went through a tour of the suites Even though it is an active construction site it doesnt feel like those wild building areas Downtown Toronto with hundreds of people around workers seem to realize people are moving in soon here so they appear obliging about that Anticipating my transition here in March 2022 I plan to update this review as my experience advances towards settling down here more ... hide ...

Living at this place was a great experience The rooms were roomy with lots of closet and storage space Additionally there was extra storage provided outside the apartment Every unit was given two parking spots additional parking could be arranged for guests if needed The rent was very reasonable Moreover the property manager Noel did an exceptional job helpi 2022-11-09T15:02:19Z
Living at this place was a great experience The rooms were roomy with lots of closet and storage space Additionally there was extra storage provided outside the apartment Every unit was given two parking spots additional parking could be arranged for guests if needed The rent was very reasonable Moreover the property manager Noel did an exceptional job helping us out in every way hes open to communication and always has a friendly attitude towards us Everything went smoothly and on time during our stay here we thank Noel for his assistance Sadly I had to move back to my home country due to a family emergency so I had to leave this apartment earlier than expected All in all Id highly recommend living here more ... hide ...

The lobby of this building looks attractive due to the marble tiles which was why I chose to rent here Unfortunately the AC wont turn on until the landlord turns it on and this process can take weeks Summertime in this apartment is unbearable if they don't turn it on The unit itself is roomy but three of the bedrooms do not have windows that open so if you w 2022-11-10T00:32:18Z

This place is awful My car was broken into twice in the underground garage and management didnt do anything to help catch the thief or improve security They don't communicate well and make you take care of your own problems Packages were stolen even though delivery guys should put them in the delivery room instead of just leaving them in the lobby The apartm 2022-10-19T02:32:18Z
This place is awful My car was broken into twice in the underground garage and management didnt do anything to help catch the thief or improve security They don't communicate well and make you take care of your own problems Packages were stolen even though delivery guys should put them in the delivery room instead of just leaving them in the lobby The apartments are nice but without a dishwasher or oven you cant bake anything and theyre often not clean when you move in In addition theres usually no room to throw out your recycling Management also doesnt seem concerned with safety despite multiple breakins they havent bothered to check security cameras or change any measures to prevent more incidents I pay an extra 90month for parking thats supposed to be safer but its not worth it don't move here more ... hide ...

UWP residences are expensive in my first year a room in a 3 bedroom unit was approximately 730month The quality of these accommodations is mediocre at best small rooms and cramped living spaces plus walls that are paper thin The only benefit of staying here is the proximity to campus buildings and the plaza otherwise one could find much better options for th 2022-11-10T02:32:17Z

The management is terrible and unresponsive the property manager offers no aid The soundproofing in the building is inadequate you can hear your upstairs neighbours as if they were in your apartment The plumbing is also faulty resulting in sink backups even on the ground floor and theres a risk of flooding Garbage often overflows with nobody willing to do an 2022-10-19T04:02:18Z

This review is for Leasing Management at 300 Regina Street in Waterloo as of JuneJuly 2022 Initially we were in contact with an agent via emails and calls and thought things were going well We viewed two model suites and decided to pursue renting one when it became available The agent instructed us to reach out again in a few weeks so I kept checking to see if anything was available 1 bed 2 bed or 3 bed She maintained that nothing was available at the time however after several weeks had passed I emailed her on July 2 to see if there had been any progress By the end of the day Monday due to an internet outage she informed us that a few apartments had become available We wanted to view some of them but she started making excuses related to tenants having COVID they couldnt show us the actual units We then informed her that we had chosen a 3 bedroom apartment and were ready to sign a contract however nothing came through via email and when we checked back the next day all 1 bedroom apartments were taken as well as all 2 bedrooms with 15 baths After visiting their office that same day 12Sep it became obvious how little they care about tenants all 1bedroom units were gone within 6 hours This experience has left me astounded by how little they cared about our situation despite two months of communication bugs in building malfunctioning elevators ant issue COVID cases Avoid this more ... hide ...
