If you have any other choices, avoid living in this building; the rent is costly and the structure is terribly outdated and poorly kept. During the past 18 months, we've been plagued by issues such as uncontrollable baseboard heating, sporadic water shut-offs, no security in the parking lot, plumbing glitches, and an ant infestation. Despite its seemingly high rating on review sites, be aware that at least three of its five star reviews within the last month are from the building manager himself. It makes me wish that landlord tenant boards had more authority over these businesses.

This review is for Leasing Management at 300 Regina Street in Waterloo as of June/July 2022. Initially, we were in contact with an agent via emails and calls and thought things were going well. We viewed two model suites and decided to pursue renting one when it became available. The agent instructed us to reach out again in a few weeks, so I kept checking to see if anything was available (1 bed, 2 bed or 3 bed). She maintained that nothing was available at the time; however, after several weeks had passed I emailed her on July 2 to see if there had been any progress. By the end of the day Monday (due to an internet outage), she informed us that a few apartments had become available. We wanted to view some of them but she started making excuses related to tenants having COVID - they couldn't show us the actual units! We then informed her that we had chosen a 3 bedroom apartment and were ready to sign a contract; however, nothing came through via email and when we checked back the next day, all 1 bedroom apartments were taken as well as all 2 bedrooms with 1.5 baths! After visiting their office that same day (12Sep) it became obvious how little they care about tenants - all 1-bedroom units were gone within 6 hours!
