Having lived in Tara Place for a year I had difficulty fulfilling the obligations of my lease at first However with Jess taking on the role of manager things have been greatly improved Her experience and professionalism are evident and she has made a positive impact on the atmosphere in the building since her arrival Despite its age this concrete structure is kept clean and uptodate with fresh updates its also quiet due to its construction Furthermore I always feel secure here as evidenced by functioning elevators and pleasant hallways so much that I can work from home without worry With all these conveniences nearby downtown I anticipate staying for another year at least more ... hide ...

Legacy apartments was a very unpleasant experience When moving in the suite had not been thoroughly cleaned there were stains on the walls even a footprint locks in bedroom and washroom were broken and the kitchen counter would slide off Despite being in agreement for a year tenancy none of these issues were fixed Upon moveout we did our own cleaning and eve 2022-09-20T14:02:17Z
Legacy apartments was a very unpleasant experience When moving in the suite had not been thoroughly cleaned there were stains on the walls even a footprint locks in bedroom and washroom were broken and the kitchen counter would slide off Despite being in agreement for a year tenancy none of these issues were fixed Upon moveout we did our own cleaning and even rented carpet cleaners yet failed to clean the blinds which resulted in manager wanting to hire cleaners again and charge us from damage deposit The manager also gave our contact information to next tenant without permission which seemed like violation of privacy Water was included as part of rent however hydro bills were much higher than other buildings with same amount of usage even summer bills similar to winter bills at previous rental place The location is confusing for deliveries as people often get lost trying to find entrance too Only pro is noise dampening due to concrete walls but it does not help if you are facing southsoutheast side as traffic noise taphouse music gas station trucks can be heard clearly more ... hide ...

We had moved into the building five years ago since rent was inexpensive but that was its only saving grace We were warned about cockroaches and the super had been asked to spray before we moved in yet we still spotted them not as bad as some of the other residents To make matters worse there had been a bed bug infestation for years now The super was extremely unhelpful and would blame other tenants instead of dealing with the issue himself During winter months it became so cold in our unit that bylaw needed to be called multiple times The showers were also moldy and instead of cleaning it out properly they simply grouted over it I have not been at this residence for three years now however my friends are still living there without any change in living conditions and costs went up to 750month for a twobedroom I urge you to look elsewhere when trying to find a place you have been warned more ... hide ...
