Moved to this place in 2021, feeling excited but not about the hefty rent of $2300. During the construction phase, there was a friendly atmosphere and dog stations for waste disposal bags were present. However, when Devon took over, notices about smoking, parking and other restrictions were frequently posted around the building - even removing the coffee station which contradicted the lease agreement. Unjustified complaints kept being made against me which were actually caused by my neighbors. After I informed Devon that I would be late on rent payments they gave me 10 days or else an eviction notice would be served; now on day 8 I find such notice outside my door while they ask for an additional $400 for this suite after I leave. It is appalling that after going back on their previous statement regarding overdue rent payments they are willing to put a family of five (3 kids) on the street. Fortunately, I have no intention of leaving so their rent will be paid by day 10th - however it is still disgraceful of Devon's goal to do this kind of thing
I recently updated my rating of Glen Valley Grove after Devon Properties took over, and they have done an amazing job cleaning the place up. Our new office staff have worked hard to fix the mess Ironclad left behind. Despite this, we still have issues with parking and some amenities are no longer available. Hopefully Devon can continue taking care of the complex and beautifying the area facing Galloping Goose.
My husband and I moved in April 2021, but as time has gone on we've noticed more problems with cheap materials and craftsmanship - such as a random beam under our flooring that's higher than the rest! We've submitted a repair request two months ago for a leak under our bathroom sink which hasn't been fixed yet either.
The main problem is safety, security, and cleanliness; there's only one cleaning lady despite Covid-19 concerns, security cameras don't work, people randomly enter the building lobby to pee on the floor or do drug deals, neighbours fight constantly and RCMP visit daily. Mail/parcels are being stolen from what was meant to be a parcel room (but Ironclad won't hire a concierge for it). Even our rooftop patio is being trashed by outsiders or lazy residents.

It's clear that Ironclad just wanted to fill their building without doing any background checks - we feel taken advantage of here so will probably end up moving due to their lack of regard towards us tenants' wellbeing.more ...hide ...
