This building is appalling do not be lured in by the promise of living in a real castle and sign a lease here Ive been living here for less than a year and during that time the building managementmaintenance has had multiple changes each being less efficient than the last Upon moving in it was absolutely filthy there were liquified onions in the fridge crisper drawer nicotine stains on the shutters and some kind of orangebrown residue on the toilet tank but I was told to clean it all myself because my predecessor moved out one day late and they didnt have enough time before I arrived Also there was an ancient stove which posed a securityfire hazard with scorch marks around its edges that didnt seal when closed plus insulation pulled out likely by rodents they looked at it but never followed up afterward Despite me reporting this multiple times verbally written nothing has been done about replacing it yet so I often burn myself as all surfaces get hot when oven or burner is switched on if something was leaning against it then setting alight would be possible When you report issues and there will be many youll just get sneering comments implying youre unreasonable or stupid for example when a mouse appeared I couldnt keep any sealed boxes of pasta on pantry shelves as apparently this attracted them they refused to look into pest control options other than poison bait which took 2 weeks to work more ... hide ...

A nonrefundable fee of 100 is required in order to reserve the elevator for moving purposes no matter how long it takes This can be a great inconvenience for the other residents in the building who have to wait however where does this fee go Furthermore some personnel who are also residents at Seaway are part of a building committee that thinks they have some form of authority and will harass people about small things such as having their bicycle in the elevator Additionally there is an outdated surveillance system which makes it easy for someone to get away with pulling a fire alarm To make matters worse during parking lot cleaning all bicycles were locked with their locks cut and several were stolen due to leaving the side door open Lastly any sort of repairs are usually done poorly and quickly fixed particularly with regards to asphalt roads which remain a disaster despite attempts at repair If changes need to be made then people should stop harassing others over matters which don't really matter and focus on more important issues instead more ... hide ...
