A non-refundable fee of $100 is required in order to reserve the elevator for moving purposes, no matter how long it takes. This can be a great inconvenience for the other residents in the building who have to wait, however, where does this fee go? Furthermore, some personnel who are also residents at Seaway are part of a "building committee" that thinks they have some form of authority and will harass people about small things such as having their bicycle in the elevator. Additionally, there is an outdated surveillance system which makes it easy for someone to get away with pulling a fire alarm. To make matters worse, during parking lot cleaning all bicycles were locked with their locks cut and several were stolen due to leaving the side door open. Lastly, any sort of repairs are usually done poorly and quickly fixed - particularly with regards to asphalt roads which remain a disaster despite attempts at repair. If changes need to be made then people should stop harassing others over matters which don't really matter and focus on more important issues instead.
