Do not rent from Westwood HoldingsDavid Weiss My mother lived in 2401 for a year without a functional kitchen no refrigerator stove countertops or cupboards She had extreme stress from the super and building managers who changed hands five times within two years one of them was even a drunkard who made advances at her When I took over her apartment and signed another lease with higher rent due to promised repairs there were still 50 work orders left unattended most of them being the same five to ten issues repeatedly Additionally windows on ground level could be pushed open from outside heating was uncontrollable and would go up to 34 degrees Celsius in winter splintered wood flooring multiple mice infestations unpainted walls leaky bathrooms without medicine cabinets as promised initially and a sharp bathtub seal that could cut feet The building manager became hostile when asked about broken promises too There are worse conditions but I will leave those for future tenant board filings or documentation later on Avoid this place at all costs more ... hide ...

After living here for a full year I cannot recommend the second floor in building 12 It is level with the parking lot and makes it easy for people to creep into the windows The elevator inside is centrally located but you have to go down steps to access it making it useless for someone in a wheelchair Doing laundry was an unpleasant experience only loonies 2022-09-22T21:32:17Z

Although I could not give a 5star rating due to the lack of air conditioning Karen and Paul the building managers and Kevin the superintendent made our stay feel like we were with family Had each unit been equipped with heat pumps this would be THE PLACE TO LIVE IN HRM Appreciate the opportunity to recognize where recognition is deserved

My experience at 3000 Dufferin Street was generally satisfactory Angel the superintendent attended to repairs in a timely manner and he was courteous He does attempt to stay on top of things but might not always be that responsive Pinedale as a company is relatively unapproachable and bureaucratic though any complaints I had were eventually addressed satisfa 2022-10-05T06:32:18Z
My experience at 3000 Dufferin Street was generally satisfactory Angel the superintendent attended to repairs in a timely manner and he was courteous He does attempt to stay on top of things but might not always be that responsive Pinedale as a company is relatively unapproachable and bureaucratic though any complaints I had were eventually addressed satisfactorily The 18th floor where I lived was free from insects soundproofing was not exceptional but superior to many new condos voices echoed at times but usually my neighbours werent audible Apartments are roomy and arranged nicely plus the location is convenient enough although around 60 years old its in decent condition overallWater supply got cut off multiple times due to pipe repairs which could be anticipated yet still inconvenient radiators blaringly hot so much that I had to wear summer clothes when windows were open it hit 26C laundry machines almost always broken or inefficient leading me to take my washing elsewhere for cheaper with better equipment However the primary problem with the building is its occupants who often display little respect for it some seem to relish disparaging it which then prompts uncivil behaviour like littering elevators instead of disposing rubbish correctly This place sucks who cares mentality During Covid19 this became an issue since some tenants acted selfishly and inconsiderately while I had no escape from them more ... hide ...
