If youre considering living in a Capreit building look for another place They neglect any issues for months and instead of fixing them theyd rather come to your apartment and argue When I signed my lease supposedly everything was supposed to be new but nothing had been renovated and the appliances were over 10 years old The fridge was broken the oven kept malfunctioning and the smoke alarm went off randomly at night Capreit did some partial renovating after a month but it took them 6 months to replace the fridge 3 years to fix the oven and they refused to repair damage caused during renovation thats been almost 4 years now Last year there were multiple problems with things like entrance door being smashed as well as elevator breaking down however it took months for them to address those issues and unsurprisingly entrance door has been smashed again with no sign of repair As if that wasnt enough their security service didnt even bother answering my calls when I couldnt get into my own apartment due contact numbers being wrong or offices not answerable so I eventually had to use force myself during work hours It is clear from ex employee reviews that no one at Capreit takes responsibility for anything all they care about is collecting rent money then telling you off if you have an issue more ... hide ...

We are very disappointed with our experience in Loft n3 a 3star accommodation We had booked it for 4 couples from September 6 to 10 and from September 21 to 23 2022 On the first stay there were no kitchen utensils worthy of using and only six towels for 8 people two of which were stained Furthermore there was only three bedrooms and the fourth bed was an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room The housekeeping did not meet 3star standards either On the second stay we immediately noticed it wasnt operational for renting several garbage bags were scattered about dishes left dirty in the sink toilets had been used but we ended up receiving an identical accommodation number 8 on the fourth floor There were still only three bedrooms for eight people so one couple had to find a last minute rental at their own expense with no reaction from the host despite messages sent Additionally other issues included a window that wouldnt close meaning street noise came through an unhinged bathroom mirror and bathtub that didnt drain properly as well as unclean bedspreads and bathrobescarpets Pictures have been included to prove our observations regarding this 3star accommodation not meeting its rating expectationsDespite all this though we will keep wonderful memories of Quebec Quebecers with four stars being deservedly given to all other lodgings during our Canadian journey more ... hide ...
