Weve been living in our current home for eighteen months and we love it Our neighbours are peaceful no one above us to make noise at all hours and having direct access to the kitchen from the garage is great There are twoandahalf baths one of which is an ensuite amazing Plus a walkin closet super awesome The half bath on the main floor is very convenient too Unfortunately theres no basement so laundry has to be done on the second floor although the hot water tank is rather small so you have to be careful not to do dishes and then try taking a shower right away or youll end up with a cold shower Having a yard and patio area is lovely but some yards don't even require mowing However shoveling our own walkway and driveway in wintertime isn't ideal All in all we really enjoy living here however parking can be quite difficult as management refuses to do anything about it A Dodge Ram has been parked outside of our unit for weeks now who knows if it was abandoned or stolen People sometimes park their cars on their lawns if they have guests over or they may park on Camiel Sys but that can be far depending on where your unit is located Lots of tenants use their garages for storage instead so theres never any space for visitors either way not ideal when you have elderly people visiting The playground almost never gets used more ... hide ...

Management is helpful and the caretaker is also good in the best apartments to rent in Winnipeg Underground parking great for the citys cold winters a swimming pool and a games room are all wellkept Its very peaceful in the building plus theres 7 Eleven and a pizza shop right across the street which comes in handy for those latenight cravings 1010

I spent three years at Braemar Gardens and I loved it Within walking distance were parks grocery stores and other shops making amenities easily accessible The rent included hot water and heat through hot water baseboard radiators which was really nice The management team was great they were always available to talk to and quickly responded to issues Pets are allowed in the building which is a rarity these days although smoking isn't allowed inside although some people still do on their balconies There are occasional maintenancerelated water shutoffs but management always informs tenants before it happens usually the water is turned back on before expected As for noise from neighbors I never experienced any problems but traffic noise from the street can be an issue if your unit faces that direction If I ever have to move back near this area in the future Id love to return here more ... hide ...
