For the past 10 years I have been a tenant of three different units owned by Cambridge Kiwanas Housing Corp Throughout my time there I had positive experiences with both landlords and property management as I was always a responsible tenant in the neighbourhood The building and grounds were kept clean at all times and snow removal was always done as promptly 2022-11-02T14:32:18Z

My girlfriend is currently living in a place which was initially good however since COVID cases began to reduce they have raised the rent to an unreasonable price of 1000 for a shared room and bathroom Despite the high cost other amenities are lacking security is only available 3 days per week at night and calls to security are futile as theres no one there 2022-11-02T22:02:18Z

I was forced to move out due to the rusty water that I had been dealing with for a month It not only cost me a lot of money but also time and energy Everyone around me was concerned about my wellbeing during the pandemic and this situation You cant imagine living without quality water Although the building manager attempted to fix it it seemed like she was just doing what she had to do as required by the property management company thus I couldnt place any trust in them or their efforts As an example of what they did one day they came by and switched out my faucets which obviously wasnt enough They made several attempts at resolving it but nothing changed during the full month of having rusty water I have videos and pictures verifying this The city workers were unable to help because they said that the management company was working on it disregarding how long this had been going on which frustrated me even more This is why I decided to move out it wasnt one of my most enjoyable experiences in life Some tenants may have different experiences due to cheap rent or good location but mine wasnt great unfortunately Even more disappointing is that they didnt compensate anything for items such as filters or water bottles I purchased for those weeks nor would they let me get out of my lease agreement To anyone reading this don't take chances From what I heard some people in my old building now use a filter as a necessity more ... hide ...
