My girlfriend is currently living in a place which was initially good, however since COVID cases began to reduce they have raised the rent to an unreasonable price of $1000 for a shared room and bathroom. Despite the high cost, other amenities are lacking; security is only available 3 days per week at night and calls to security are futile as there's no one there on other days. With summertime here and temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius in Vancouver with a heatwave warning, the windows must be kept open but this increases the noise from people partying and playing loud music inside the building. She cannot wait to move out of this dwelling as it is not worth it financially or comfort-wise; hence she would not recommend it to anyone else.
