Living in this place was the worst experience of my life I was forking out 1600 for a tiny apartment and on the day I signed a parking lease they tried to have my car towed Later that night I got a call from a police officer informing me of their plan but they decided to call me first since it didnt make sense why they would want to tow it Another time while I was asleep in my apartment I heard keys and looked up to see the landlord standing in the doorway He mentioned something about maintenance being there without giving me any prior notice through email or phone call plus there wasnt even anything that needed work done When they did come to do maintenance another time they messed up by cutting off my cabinets wrong and leaving mud on the wall without sanding or painting after not forgetting all my stuff scattered all over the floor The building is also like an oven as summers heat rises from the hallway making it unbearable even when we were told about raising heat during winter for which we were charged 75 for AC This doesnt include half of what happened throughout this 7 months horror story Everyone should stay far away if only I had done so too more ... hide ...

I often visit my senior friend who lives at Hamilton Place and she seems content Maintained and spotless the building has a pleasant main floor seating area and a sunroom on the second level it is so inviting Additionally there is an event room and the apartments have ample bedrooms with lots of natural light The personnel are approachable as well as there b 2022-10-14T12:02:18Z
I often visit my senior friend who lives at Hamilton Place and she seems content Maintained and spotless the building has a pleasant main floor seating area and a sunroom on the second level it is so inviting Additionally there is an event room and the apartments have ample bedrooms with lots of natural light The personnel are approachable as well as there being a maintenance staff member on site I wouldnt mind living there myself more ... hide ...

My biggest regret was renting an apartment for two years at 1050 Markham Road Capreit Inc Here are some of my experiences 1 The unit was extremely cold in winter I have emails as proof that it was below the standard temperature but there was no response from management They have inspection records in their office As a result I had to buy blankets and a heater and pay high electricity bills Someone told me hes been living there for years and the unit is still cold 2 I wanted to move out so I signed up for a monthtomonth contract providing 42 days notice to management however they said two months notice was necessary or else they would make me pay until they found another tenant due to my short notice This led me to contact the Tenancy BoardGovernmentfor help on this matter 3 The environment felt unsafe someone opened our car door parked outside the building and stole our belongings so we had to switch to basement parking instead after that incident occurred 4The carpets in the basement elevators and main entrance were very dirty as well as unprofessional staff behavior 5There were not enough closets nor mailboxes instead there was a small hole near the door where envelopes would be thrown inside 6Management did not have proper scheduling for maintenance which caused loud noises using hammers or machines late at night or on weekends making one feel like they were more ... hide ...

It is immensely important to read this My fiance and I have lived here for three years but it has been nothing but problems Bedbugs cockroaches unfilled work orders homeless people sneaking into the building and hallways carpets stained with urine you name it Drug activity is rampant in the building as well The landlords allow scavengers to rummage through the dumpsters We had to struggle tooth and nail just to get anything done around here rental lady will lie right in your face about bug issues and tell you there are none at all Just recently on June 27th 2018 a new tenant arrived he had only been living here four weeks yet was told there were no bedbug issue whatsoever he now has a lawyer helping him break his lease because of it The regional manager refuses to let him leave similarly not allowing us either when we tried previously Staff at the office are incredibly unprofessional they gossip about customers after their complaints have been filed without even fixing any of them This building needs an extensive treatment or else be taken down completely partial treatments wont cure its infestations across all fifteen floors We gave solutions on how to treat this place yet were met with responses of being too expensive or inconvenient so having bedbugs across all fifteen floors is more convenient Think twice before viewing an apartment here for youll end up regretting it within three weeks more ... hide ...

I have called Devereux home for the past ten months and this is my first ever apartment experience I write this review of my own free will and not for any monetary or other benefits During my stay here I have been content with what I am getting and feel privileged to be living here Although there are people who complain about the messy hallways rowdy people and high rent at the complex being a tenant right next to the garbage room gives me an insight that many others do not have that these messes are usually shortlived due to dedicated cleaning staff coming in daily like a hotel In addition Devereux is strict when it comes to dealing with problematic tenants thus it isn't fair to say its a messy place when in reality it isn't soThe fact that there are four apartment buildings on one complex means there will be rowdy people as well however due to Devereuxs quick response time they make sure those issues don't linger around too long As for rent being high if you look at all you get from living here then its actually quite cheap The amenities are luxurious eg quartz countertop kitchen with stainless steel appliances and pet friendly furthermore staff take their job seriously dressed smartly in uniforms while landscapers cleaners tend diligently to their duties also daily cleaned pool regular carpet cleaning take place along with Amazon Lockers secured mailroom etc more ... hide ...
