I would give no stars if I could Avoid Patry at all costs The management is terrible and they will try to scam you out of every penny When my roommate and I chose a unit at 539 Armstrong we thought that the further away from downtown Kingston we were the better the building would be run Unfortunately an Uber driver who picked us up gave us numerous stories about Patrys management team if only we had listened We were told that our unit came with a washer and dryer included when we saw it but when movein date arrived there werent any machines The property manager tried to make excuses for this saying that someone had supposedly mispoken On movein day the place was filthy crumbs everywhere in addition to holes in walls not filled or plastered over plus a broken bedroom window and a broken dishwasher door which took two weeks to repair In November it got extremely cold so our heat went out despite calling maintenance multiple times nothing happened until my frustrated voicemail prompted them to send small heating fans which really didnt help much Furthermore there was drama regarding parking spots given by management yet still receiving threatening letters from other tenants about how Id taken their spot on top of this when moving out after months of trying I never received my key deposit back nor proof as requested that the place was dirty after we left it spotless on moveout date Another issue included bills not being more ... hide ...

Ive heard some grievances about Homestead but from my personal experience I havent had any difficulties Compared to other landlords horror stories Homestead does keep up with maintenance and will appear when asked They even went beyond the call of duty and did major renovations for example at Bradstreet they changed all windows restored elevators improved security cameras and entry system and substituted hallway light fixtures which must have cost more than what they were receiving in rent When it comes to overdue payments of which is probably due to pandemic too they are reasonable I lived in two buildings of theirs as a tenant and never had any serious problems Bradstreet NormandyThe staffs behavior towards me has been mixed yet usually professional I was always polite with them which was reciprocated by them In the reviews concerning Vicki specifically people said she wasnt the best but throughout our dealings with each other from viewing the unit to signing the lease there werent any issues like those mentioned in those complaints It could be that these reviewers were inappropriate so Vicki wouldnt tolerate it if so then I understand her stance Even though Homestead is a corporate landlord company there are still employees who care although strict on paperwork unless you really mess up then they wont nitpick rules too much If you experience an issue treat them respectfully or contact their head office at 80 Johnson if need be since personnel changes occur if necessary like the superintendent more ... hide ...

This summer Ive been living at 90 Curtis Crescent for 12 years Generally its been pleasant until the last two years when I encountered multiple issues There are many suspicious occupants drug deals happening and even a crack pipe discovered in the laundry room In addition to that three of my packages have gone missing two from the lobby and one right outside my door which was apparently taken by a tenants guest as revealed to me by Homestead Despite having identified the thief via surveillance footage they were unwilling to offer more help or explain what steps theyre taking to fix this problem As a result Im now forced to get mail delivered elsewhere which is unfair The security is also questionable as front and side entrances are often propped open with flyers or rocks allowing unrestricted access into the building However Homestead has handled cockroaches well so far by fumigating my unit and inspecting units regularly luckily there are none in mine anymore On a positive note 90 Curtis is usually quiet in my hallway and staff friendly moreover theyve done great job revamping aesthetics while efficiently fixingreplacing things within reasonable time frame too If these issues arent solved soon though this place wont be able to attract good tenants anymore which would be unfortunate more ... hide ...

CLV Group has been doing their best to upgrade the Virginia Street area Its now a nice environment for both living and walking around When I moved in everything had been freshly painted and revived The new staff members are doing well they show plenty of commitment and enthusiasm compared to the old ones Although there is still room for improvement overall 2022-10-02T11:32:16Z
CLV Group has been doing their best to upgrade the Virginia Street area Its now a nice environment for both living and walking around When I moved in everything had been freshly painted and revived The new staff members are doing well they show plenty of commitment and enthusiasm compared to the old ones Although there is still room for improvement overall its a pleasant experience living here due to Michelles exceptional customer service skills she is an excellent communicator and takes pride in her work as well as CLV Groups reputation Some potential improvements include putting washing machinesdryers on each floor which accept cards instead of coins getting rid of those bulky doors on the floors we have too many doors anyway making sure elevators are available when carrying heavy items or groceries prohibiting huge dogs from living in apartments reminding owners to keep them on leashes at all times and not let them bark excessively loud which I have had issues with before more ... hide ...
