Leaving a 5 star review after living at the Milford location for 8 years now moved The local office staff always tried their best to be helpful and answer my many questions as I planned a move out I was not charged with any repairs when I left despite some damage from before we moved in It appears that Red Oak now does better in regards to moving people into 2022-09-15T01:32:17Z
Leaving a 5 star review after living at the Milford location for 8 years now moved The local office staff always tried their best to be helpful and answer my many questions as I planned a move out I was not charged with any repairs when I left despite some damage from before we moved in It appears that Red Oak now does better in regards to moving people into fully repaired apartments compared to when I first moved in Though there were still frustrations like being told my fridge breaking wasnt an emergency and theyd replace it on Monday which they did with an older model or the addition of a 10 grounds fee that isn't considered part of rent even though you pay it with your rent or the apartment being dirty and moldy upon movein despite touring it while it was still being fixed up There were also positives over the years kids playing outside including my own kid maintenance coming out late night before Thanksgiving after flushing a full bar of soap replacement of AC dishwasher with new models when needed Red Oak is a large company and generally feelsacts like one if you set your expectations accordingly then they seem to deliver on that plus more due to help from staff maintenance personnel who usually want to help out more ... hide ...

I was really looking forward to the opportunity of this apartment as it seemed ideal for someone finishing a masters degree with its quiet country setting and affordability Six weeks ago I sent an email inquiring when the apartment was available and if I could see it Responses were evasive hence I followed up my previous inquiries With my lease running out in a couple of months I don't have time to waste on agents who are not taking me seriously or their job seriously So all that was required from them was to answer two simple questions do I qualify for the income guidelines after providing this information already and when will the apartment be ready Receiving no response to that last email today I finally got a phone call back which turned out just like what all bad reviews mentioned Carol being rude condescending ignorant and unprofessional She interrupted me while asking questions instead of letting me finish answering them at one point she even assumed that since I am a graduate student then surely my age should be between 1821 and would be reported under someone elses taxes Trying to correct her wrong impression about me by mentioning that actually Im in my 40s only resulted in further interruption from Carol who appeared too busy justifying her own ignorance than listening carefully Her deplorable communication skills were worsened by her presumptions about prospective tenants being beneath her or completely unaware of moderate income housing laws etc giving away nothing but excuses for lack of follow up or professionalism more ... hide ...

I highly rate the community 5 stars despite the fact that there is no washer and dryer in our 2 bedroom apartment requiring us to go to another building for laundry Management and maintenance are both good and the best part of living here is our fenced in patio The surrounding area is clean and free from trash although I feel that for the rent we pay some of 2022-09-15T09:32:16Z
I highly rate the community 5 stars despite the fact that there is no washer and dryer in our 2 bedroom apartment requiring us to go to another building for laundry Management and maintenance are both good and the best part of living here is our fenced in patio The surrounding area is clean and free from trash although I feel that for the rent we pay some of the apartment interiors such as bath vanities mirrors tubs and sinks could do with an update Nonetheless I am content with my neighbors here We had a choice between this community or another down the street which did have a washerdryer but Williamsburg had superior customer service which made us decide to live here instead more ... hide ...

If youre living in an old building mold and high humidity are a major problem In October and November 2021 I reported the growth of mold on my clothes shoes suitcase boxes cookbooks walls windows and patio door to the management however they didnt do much about it After four to five months of cleaning like a maniac February 2022 they gave me a dehumidifier that made the air worse When they came back to check if I was using it they asked Well I don't see you using the dehumidifer They then got an environmental company to inspect seven different units with similar problems but have yet to report back any results The senior manager had reported this issue to her corporate supervisor but it seems as if this has been downplayed Legal Aid of Southeastern PA LASP were informed as well as Chester County Health Department who were told by New Kent Corporate Representative that other tenants werent having this issue when in fact there are seven other units with similar problems This is a health problem so taking legal action via Implied Warranty of Habitability could be taken whether or not stated in lease agreement Cleaning all 1000 pages of every cookbook washing 15 loads of laundry every month handcleaning 20 pairs of shoes throwing out food before it goes bad cleaning every corner from baseboards to wallswindows constantly emptying water from dehumidifier when will we have time for anything more ... hide ...
